  I don’t usually hop in here to write any reviews but this time I felt the need to do it.I booked the stay at le relax St Joseph guest house for one night.I start by saying that as soon as we reach the reception the first thing the very unfriendly manager requested was the payment for the two rooms, he looked at us disgusted and once we paid he gave us “directions” to find the guest house so we had to walk by foot from the relax hotel to le relax guest house at night with very little to no directions, he mentioned we only had to walk for two minutes (which in the end was a 10 minutes walk) and he left us wondering around to find a colleague of his who showed up on a bike to bring us to the place.The rooms were dated, with ants in the bathroom, dirty sheets and despite sponsoring the presence of Wi-Fi everywhere, the wifi was not working.They had no hot water and the AC was working poorly.It was a terrible experience overall. First of all your negative comment is an exception to the rule to the beautiful comments we have received from our wonderful guests on Trip Advisor. Having said that, our reservations team took your reservation and informed the guests to reach St. Joseph Guest house directly as the reservation made was for the guest house. The person who brought them just left them at the Beach Resort and went away. Since they were at the resort we collected the payment which could have been taken at the guest house. We did not get any prior information about any transfer that you wanted to take from the Resort to the Guest House. Moreover, it was a very sudden arrival at the Resort, upon asking as to why they got off at the resort and not the Guest house, we did not any reply to this. We can call the taxi if they do not want to walk to the guest house however no such request was made. Transfers world-wide are recommended and prior information has to be given to the hotel. Moreover, guests being from Mahe could have called for a taxi themselves or informed the hotel to call one for them. The hotel does not do transfers as this is strictly outsourced and that also at an odd hour without any prior information. I hope, I have been able to explain in very simple terms to avoid any such confusion in the future with regards to hotel transfers as I have spoken in general and not just the situation faced by us. You may wish to check with other hotels how the transfers are done for the guests arriving at the hotel. You cannot go to a wrong hotel and expect the hotel to take you to the right destination without even ordering for a taxi? My sincere request would be to refrain from writing false comments on trip advisor which only provides false satisfaction. Plese check the global practices and standards of hotels to understand about hotel transfers. Le Relax Management

  not clean, old furniture, no reception and main door does not lock

  i will never go to this place again as the staff do not care and you get no assistance. The door lock to the main door did not work and after complaining 4 times nothing was done so i had to sleep with an unlocked door for 2 nights from 8th to 10th November 2019 and no discount was given. I had to keep all my valuables in the rented car.   Praslin, Seychelles' second largest island, only 15 minutes from Mahe, and the mainland.This was our second stop…..….We had stayed at Le Relax Hotel & Restaurant at Mahe & The same hotel group advised us for "ISLAND HOPING" and booked us for this lovely self serviced apartment. VERY SPACIOUS ROOM.Though little far away ;but rooms are good and for the money that they charged us , it was an indeed a good deal!!Don't forget to buy the world famous black pearls...try buying without gold as Gold is very costly here....   Very nice spacious room with aircon,tv and varenda. Nice breakfast. But area a bit noisy during our weekend stay. When we arrived there was nobody to receive us and the booking were unsure of.....looks like they forgot or did not reserve 😒. But other than that was a nice stay...   Tried this property for the first time and found it to be very comfortable. Great value for money to be honest. Definitely recommended if travelling with kids as some of the rooms are extremely spacious. Conveniently close to airport. A good car rental place nearby to allow you to explore Praslin in your own time.
