  Avoid this hotel at all cost! EXTREMELY RUDE, HOSTILE, DISRESPECTFUL, LACK OF PROPER BUSINESS CONDUCT AND MANNERS. The host was not even willing to even listen to the customers question or request and try to speak over and yelled at us for no reason!! We booked a triple room and we were 3 people, but told we could stay only 2 people. We were willing to pay any difference in rate for 2 vs 3 people staying in a triple room and had a simple question but they refused to listen to us and they refused to acknowledge the business contract! we booked on a travel platform and guaranteed payment. We were shocked with the attitude and treatment!!There are much better options on the island, take your money to someone who needs the business and who knows how to run the business and knows how to professionally speak to the customers. They also had the nerve and arrogancy to say ‘nothing will happen to our hotel!!’ Let’s show them the power of customer feedback and internet! No wrong behaviour should go unnoticed. I have been traveling for 30 yrs to 195 UN COUNTRIES and NEVER in my life had to face such treatment upon arrival from any host, any hotel!!

  Amazing place to syay

  Villa rafia what an excellent guest house owned and run by Darna and her lovely family, stayed here on the 15th November 2023 for one week.Breakfast was mixed fruit, toast and jam, and eggs cooked to your liking fruit juice and coffee and was all very nice.The rooms were very nice and equipped with fridge and air conditioning, and a lovely balcony to sit and chill after a day exploring the island.100% trust in this guest house as we left our phones money and camera in room most days and nothing was touched.Would also like to point out that we had an afternoon flight back and Darna very kindly agreed to let us keep our room on at no extra cost to shower and get ready for our return journey Would highly recommend the villa rafia for all reasons above and very well situated only 5 min from beach

  + Small guesthouse in a tropical garden 5 minutes walk from Anse Volbert Beach, some restaurants and supermarkets.+ Free parking place for guests only.+ Accomodation with breakfast.+ Shared lounge and breakfast area.+ You can have 5-course dinner (400 SCR/p.p.), but you must order and pay in advance in the morning. We did not try it. + Nice staff and the owner. + You can pay cash or credit card. + Wifi is available for free in the shared lounge, but it’s not very stable (it’s problem in a whole island).+ Villa and the room is clean daily. - No pool.- Breakfast is very simple and the same every day – a fruit plate, juice, toast, butter, tea or coffee and you can choose from boiled eggs, scrambled eggs or an omelette.- No drinking water (in a bottle) in the room or in the guesthouse. You have to buy water in the supermarket.- No shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom. - Not all rooms have private veranda or terrace, for example room number 3 (standard room). You don’t have the option to sit outside, except the shared lounge.- You have outdoor grill in the garden. But no plates or cutlery in the room, if you decide to use the grill spontaneously. Probably, you have to reserve equipment in advance (we did not try it).- You can’t buy any drinks, neither coke nor water at Villa Rafia.- Room 3 (standard room) was very basic and outdated. The bathroom definitely needs renovation. There is fan, aircondition and small refrigerator in the bathroom. Many non-functional little things: in a double room for two people only one glass for water, no glasses for wine or beer in a whole guesthouse, the main building with information leaflets and a number of the owner if needed, it’s locked from the afternoon, no trash can outside. Review: Small guesthouse in a tropical garden, near one of the most beautiful beach in Praslin. Unfortunately, we give 3 stars for a very basic and outdated room, the bathroom was clean, but definitely needs renovation. The price did not include drinking water, shampoo or shower gel, which is standard even in apartment and bed and brekfast. There is also no possibility to buy at least non alcoholic drinks. For the price of 95 Eur/night for standard room, that we paid, Villa Rafia should really provide a better standard.

  Отличная локация, стандартный завтрак, отличная хост Дерна, но есть одно но! В апартаментах нет сейфа и украли деньги во время уборки. На ресепшене пожали плечами и сказали, что быть такого не может. Но факт остаётся фактом, остался неприятный осадок.Great location, standard breakfast, great host Derna, but there is one problem! The apartment does not have a safe and money has been stolen during cleaning. At the reception they said that this could not happen. But the fact remains, there was an unpleasant aftertaste.

  Villa Rafia Guest House situated in Praslin Island. Our guest room was so beautiful. Neat and clean. One bed room with attached bath room and a drawing cum kitchen room also. Very natural scenery is around the guest house. Different type of bird have in this guest house trees. It is self catering and all kitchen house hold/cutleries and crockeries is available in the room. Local Bus stand Just walking distance . Anse Lazio sea beach also near from Villa Rafia Guest house. La Digue Island Bus fare only 7 Seychelles Rupees. You can go by the local bus around the island but it will be one way only 7 Rupees. 1 (one) Seychelles . Rupee=6.29 Bangladeshi Taka. A turtle farm beside our room. 9th to 13th August,2019 our visit period.
