    A room to sleep and shower

    Located in the middle of little India, it as a good location to use as a base to sleep. If you like spicy food and an active nightlife for shopping you won't be disappointed with the location. The hotel room itself was very small. We took a room with a window, however if you don't read the fine print you might select a room without a window. The bathroom is small, the toilet and shower are in close proximity, everything gets wet. Hot water, water pressure and air-conditioning were adequate. Plug outlets are not compatible with North American outlets. You can buy an adapter in the stores outside for around $2.50. Had issues with the safe, unable to program the numbers, night manager could not resolve it, day manager did make it work, however when I did it after it would not work. Eventually gave up and never used it. The hotel was clean. They do not clean the room unless you place the sign on the door to clean the room. The hotel has a requirement of a $100 for a deposit. I paid it in cash, to avoid any complications of an electronic refund. After reading all the reviews we still took the hotel for our stay. Mainly because of our budget. Nothing more to say about the hotel, it was a room to sleep and shower.     We checked in to check inn little India on the 12th of December 2023 and booked 3 rooms for 7 people. On the day of checking in to the hotel, I was asked to use a separate Visa card for emergencies. I was assured that no withdrawal would be made. But the female staff on the day had proceeded to do so anyway. Till today I don’t understand why. We checked out on the 18th of December till today 16th of January 2024 I have not seen my money deposited back into my account. The matter now is with my Bank. They have lodged a case with Check Inn Little India. As far as I’m concerned I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They don’t have the customer service that is called honesty and during the stay, one skinny male staff with a big head had such a bad attitude. Don’t let me start on the bathroom it felt like 3rd world standard there’s no shower curtain so when you take a shower toilet bowl is saturated. Very low standards. Hygiene in the bathroom with black mold omg who is managing this establishment? Have a look at the photos on the website of different scenarios in person. Cheap for various reasons nothing positive about it.

    Average price for their room rate. Stayed for a night for a quick tour around singapore.Area was little bit crowded.good thing was Just few meters walk to the train station,room was clean with some set of amenities, but if you have a luggage you will struggle a little since there is no elevator and need to carry it upto your room by yourself.Friendly receptionist .

    A last-minute booking for a hotel in Little India

    We ordered this hotel last minute. The number of COVID-19 had just begining to slope at that moment. The location is great. It was just 20metres from the Little India MRT station. But since we ordered last minute, we got a pretty small room and was unable to upgrade since the other rooms were fully booked. No breakfast provided. Moreover, they didnt provide early check-in so we had to wait until the room was ready. Little india is quite a crowded place. Moreover, there was no lift here. You may want to reconsider bringing the elderly to stay here as they need to climb up or down the stairs to reach the room.
