Location

The hotel complex is located at the heart of Singapore’s business and cultural centre where the city’s historic past as well as many different shopping venues may be explored. The hotel is situated above one of the major stations (City Hall Station) in the Mass Rapid Transit (subway) system and is part of Raffles City complex comprising 2 hotels, a convention centre, shopping centre and office tower. It is just 5 to 10 minutes walk to popular attractions such as CHIJMES, the Esplanade Theatre on the Bay, Merlion Walk, the National Art Museum and the Suntec City Convention Centre and Exhibition Hall. The airport is around 20 minutes away.

Facility

The hotel has 1261 rooms, including 16 suites and 644 single rooms, which are located on 70 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park (for a fee). Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, a transfer service, translation services, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain just the right temperature. Guests have a view of the city from the balcony or terrace, which are standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A sun terrace, sun loungers, and parasols are available. Yoga and aerobics or, for a fee, a gym, are among the sport and leisure options available. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and hydrotherapy treatments. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Entertainment options and leisure facilities include a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a café, a bar and a pub. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for lunch and dinner). Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. Alcoholic beverages are available.

    Wonderful hotel in a great location

    Stayed in May 2026 and would highly recommend this hotel.We had a Marina Bay view room with a balcony and was well worth it. The views of the bay and the wider city were breathtaking and not obscured in any way.We travelled with two young children and having the balcony to sit on while they slept was well worth the extra cost.The room was for two doubles, but they did add a third single bed in the room which was ideal.The check in process was exceptionally smooth with no delay as a large number of staff and automated systems. Were even able to obtain a late check out.Below the hotel was a shopping centre making it very easy to get snacks, drinks for room and for the day out as well as get many breakfast options.The location was very good and easily walkable to Merlion and Boat Quay. For further distances just use Grab as very cheap.We did use the rooftop bar, but to be honest the views were just as good from the room and as kids not allowed after 6pm did not feel had to go more than the once.The pool was ok but not very large to say supported two hotels. Bar staff at pool were very good and nice touch to have sunscreen available.

    The lobby is a like a busy shopping center and not the greatest place to slowly relax but once you get past the lobby this place is great.The rooms are of a good size and clean/quiet. A great place to go back to after a busy day.I had breakfast there several days in a row so shout out to the omlette ladies who looked after me.

    It was an amazing experience. I stayed at Swissotel The Stamford, Singapore after many years. The rooms are renovated and upgraded, and the room service was phenomenal, especially when I came back from work, my room was nicely organized and cleaned well. Thanks to those who cleaned and organized the room. I usually don’t give 5/5, but in this case it exceeded my expectations.

    Tom and Yan Jie are seriously the best! I traveled with my kids. Not only they clean the room so meticulously but they made animal towels to entertain them. These little personal touches honestly goes a long way and i will be sure to stay with swissotel on my next visit to sg!
