  Very tight toilet in unit #09-04

  My 16 nights stay here during the House Improvement Program of my own home was on average. Pros: 1)Near to food and groceries shops. There is a Fairprice Xtra here just connected to the residence by leve 1 or B1. 2)aircon available in the hall and rooms.3)got a hob and hood plus microwave that can microwave plus grill.4)three times weekly housekeeper who will change your towels and bed coverings , vacuum and mop the floor. Cons:1) super tiny bathrooms. It is only suitable for able bodied and not so fat people. Otherwise you cannot use the toilet without getting behind the door to close it. And doors are squeaking. 2) sound proofing is not that great. 3) although I got upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment , there are only 2 bathrooms that have hot water for bath. The 3rd bathroom has a shower but only got cold water (in the backyard). I had a hard time with showering my wheelchair bound mother as I cannot possibly bring her into the toilets on her wheelchair. Let alone to transfer her from wheelchair to commode for bath. In the end , I had to shower her in the backyard with improvised curtains using shower curtains and plastic sheet to cover up the washing machine. And then to use a pail for bathing her ( hot water mixed with cold water manually ) . This review is to inform possible tenants who have wheelchair bound family members. Other than these , the management office have been very fast in handling my enquiries.   Comfortable, Convenient Stay with Excellent Service

  I had a very pleasant stay at Far East Village Hotel Hougang. The staff were warm, hospitable, and highly responsive, and the location near Hougang One is extremely convenient. The apartment is spacious with a lovely ambience, and the air conditioning keeps the space cool and well ventilated. Housekeeping on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturday was reliable, with comfortable beds and high-quality towels made and changed. One minor area for improvement would be the limited table space.   5-Star service from Village Residence Hougang

  Meor and his team gave my family top-tier service throughout our stay. From checking-in to checking-out, we were well taken care of. Suraya from housekeeping cleaned up our unit well throughout our stay, was very friendly with my children and even accommodated to our schedule for cleaning due to our baby's nap times. The maintenance team were quick to respond to any issues with our unit. Within 10 to 15mins, they were at our unit and solved the issues seamlessly. The security team were also very helpful when I had problems entering the gantry due to my transponder. The unit we stayed in was very spacious and well taken care of. All the appliances were working. The other facilities were also well maintained like the gym and swimming pool. The location is also very convenient. Food and groceries from Hougang One, just beside the building. Bus-stops are just a few minutes walking distance if you need to go anywhere.Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Like a home away from home. Hope to go there again someday.
