  Great location for city break.

  The hotel is very central and a great location for exploring the city. The building is unassuming and is not what you would call luxurious but it is clean, comfortable and has all that you need for a comfortable stay without frills, there is a lift to all floors. The reception is only staffed between 7am and 7pm but it is easy to check in outside these times. We had room 14 which has a large balcony with table and chairs, at the back of the hotel it was wonderfully quiet. Breakfast in the basement restaurant was simple but adequate continental style. The shower cubicle was snug for my 6’2” but the shower itself was great, the only criticism is that the shower tray was very slippery. The beds were very comfortable and the heating/ac unit was very efficient. We would happily stay there again.   Perfect location super close to the main square and main attractions in beautiful Bratislava. The breakfast buffet is small but the food is of great quality. Excellent customer service!   Small welcoming hotel, right in the centre of the old town of Bratislava, and only minutes from the lively Christmas markets. Cosy and quiet. Staff were lovely.   Little gem just off the square

  This is not a bad 3 star hotel it is right in the centre of everything yet you don't hear the noise of the square.Pros. Nice room with the added bonus of a large decorative balcony with seating.Tea and coffee facilities that are replenished daily.The room was very clean.The bathroom was very clean.The receptionist was friendly and polite at check in and solved an issue with our lighting very quickly.The breakfast room was nice with a comfortable cosy traditional feel and the food choice was good to say it only has 40 rooms.Breakfast staff were pleasant and polite and kept the area clean and replenished food quickly.Cleaning staff worked hard here they cleaned all communal areas and rooms daily.Location is great right in the heart of everything.Cons. There was some noise into late evening from either an adjoining building or downstairs that sounded like chairs being pulled across the floor.which was quiet loud.On one occasion in the hallway on our floor we could smell burning fat from the restaurant downstairs.The shower had to be hand held as it would not face the right way when in the holder to get a shower. However pressure was food and water was a good temperature.All in all a pleasant stay.I would stay again.   Perfect Stay in Bratislava

  This is a beautiful hotel literal steps away from the sites or Bratislava. We really enjoyed our stay here and felt very relaxed once in the hotel. The view from the street and lobby make it seem like there isn't much but once we got beyond the ground floor (in a diamond shaped elevator) we really appreciated the atrium. There were plenty of spots to sit including some large bench areas where you could enjoy the sunlight and brightly lit areas.The room was a good size with plenty of space and storage cabinets to keep our things. They had a coffee station, mini fridge and desk area. The room was comfy and quiet. The wifi was also very strong during our stay. We had a minor issue with the curtains because they got stuck and did not offer complete coverage.The bathroom was good and we appreciated the rainfall showerhead. They had an all in one shower gel so you may want to consider bringing your own products. There was a towel warming rack too which was a nice touch.The breakfast at the hotel was very good and there were some nice healthy options. They had plenty of fruit, yogurt and some nice breads. We also appreciated the eggs, bacon and cheese. The breakfast spot is on the bottom floor and serves as an extension to the restaurant Koliba Kamzík Zelená which has a few locations in Bratislava. We had a very good lunch at the restaurant which included pierogies, cabbage soup and a garlic soup with cheese. The hot sea buckthorn drink was very good too. The lunch was probably our best meal in Bratislava and if you're a member of the hotel's Aplend club you can get discounts on several items.The location was good for us and we were a very short walk away from many restaurants, souvenir shops and cafes. The Town Hall Square is about 100 meters away from the entrance of the hotel and we found many of Bratislava's attractions a short walk away from the hotel including St. Michael's Tower, Cumil and the whole Old Town area. The bus and tram stops are a bit further of a walk but we found the bus station and tram station by the UFO Bridge to be pretty convenient during our stay.
