Location

This unique city hotel is located on a hill near to the centre. Public transport departs close to the hotel. Restaurants, scores of shops, bars and nightclubs are easily reached on foot and it is just a 10-minute walk to the city's most important tourist attractions including the castle, the stunning old town and the president's palace. Bratislava airport lies some 10 km away (20 minutes on public transport) and Vienna airport can be reached on public transport in just 70 minutes (45 km).

Facility

16 suites and 16 apartments are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Rooms

    As other reviews elude to, Mamaison walk is an uphill walk from the old town, but only around 15 minutes and it should be a manageable walk for anyone of reasonable fitness. Also, there are tons of Bolt taxis in Bratislava so it easy to get around even if you don’t want to walk. The hotel is also located fairly close to the central train station which was handy for us.The hotel is clean, the rooms are fairly spacious and the shower was powerful and hot. All of the things I would want in a hotel when travelling abroad. The lady on reception (forgot her name) was also really nice to us. She gave us a list of bars and restaurnts to try in Kosice, which was our next stop after Bratislava.We didn’t try breakfast so can’t comment on the food.Overall a pleasant stay. I would stay again if I am ever in Bratislava.     Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely welcome from reception. There is a good selection for breakfast and even lactose free milk available. About a 15 minute walk to the old town centre or castle, but beware it is on a hill. The room was clean and warm, the bed comfortable. The only downside was the noise from the next room, the guy was on his phone ( on loudspeaker) and we could hear both sides of the conversation, not great at 11pm. The next night we were treated to the noise from the film on television.     Friendly hotel, excellent English spoken, delicious breakfast, the rooms were beautifully warm (we visited in November.) you have complete control of the heating in your room,hich is very quick to come on. There is also air con for the summer.We had a studio room, which was very spacious and included a comfy seating area. And Kitchenette with kettle, microwave/grill, two ring hob, toaster and coffee maker. We cooked at the hotel one evening! The 147 bus drops you close by. The only drawback is that the approach to the front door is on a steep hill.
