  Brilliant, helpful staff

  A small gem right by the trains to/from Vienna. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Big shout out for friendly helpful staff who went above and beyond the call of duty to help us in an emergency. The city centre is a 5-minute ride and the buses are frequent. Despite being next to the railway the rooms are quiet. WIll definitely use on our next trip to Bratislava. Warmly recommended.

  Bratislava stay at More Than hotel

  More Than does not appear as a hotel from the outside. The office is one of several businesses in a downtown area. It is nestled in between a dentist office and nail salon. You will not see a sign for the hotel from the road when driving by, which is why we initially had difficulty locating the building. Our GPS said “you have arrived”, yet we thought it was wrong. There is a small parking lot behind the next building. The actual rooms are entered from another site between the businesses. The rooms were clean, and the amenities are similar to other hotels. Breakfast is included, though no hot cooked foods. Snacks are dropped off daily. The representatives are very helpful and friendly. The bus stop and passenger train station is a just a few steps away.

  Easy going and friendly hotel

  We were welcomed by a very friendly lady. She offered us a welcoming drink and showed us our room. Indeed, the hotel doesn’t look like a standard hotel. It’s located between different shops. And it’s on the third floor of a normal flat. We booked the hotel because of the free car parking which we could use before checking in and after checking out. The hotel is well connected with the city centre. The bus stop is just a 2 min walk from the hotel and it brings you in 5 min to the city centre.The rooms are comfortable and clean. But there’s some noise from the train station next to the hotel. And the curtains didn’t prevent us from waking up in the morning. Too much light.The breakfast was a cold buffet and you could take as many coffee and tea as you wanted.We were happy with room number 2 because room numbers 7 and 8 are located next to the breakfast area. And breakfast starts at 6h30!

  Quirky but likable

  This was a one night stay so we just needed somewhere near to the train station. Be aware, this is near a train station but not the main one into town! This meant we used the excellent bolt app for a cheap taxis in an out of the old town and to the racecourse.The hotel is hidden away and even taxi drivers don’t know where it is.They find it on their GPS but it is in the middle of a bank of shops so don’t be put off if it doesn’t look like there is a hotel there!Our welcome was fantastic and we were offered a drink as soon as we arrived and then taken to our room. This was a bit strange as the door opened directly onto the breakfast area and breakfast started at 6:30!The room itself was very comfortable though and we had a good night sleep. It is next to a dual carriageway though so you will get some noise from traffic. It had air-conditioning and the room was bright which meant it was fairly light in the morning as well.Wi-Fi is free for unlimited devices and was good quality. The bathroom was big and very comfortable and the same applied to the room.Breakfast, which was obviously very short commute for us, was buffet style but very good and had excellent coffee.The balcony was nice as well even though it overlooked the dual carriageway.It is worth noting that this hotel is not walking distance into the old town.

  Fantastic place to stay.

  Accommodation is exceptionally clean. Very good value for money. 5 minutes by bus to the Old Town. Bus stop 20m from accommodation. Staff very friendly. Went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Highly recommended.
