Location

This luxury hotel is located in the tourist area of Bled and is only a matter of metres from the unspoilt lake with a bathing platform. It is just a few minutes walk to the centre and its many shopping and entertainment venues. There is stop for public transport about 500 m from the hotel. The nearest skiing area is only 200 m from the hotel.

Facility

35 suites, 8 single rooms and 46 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the lake view from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Guests can also make use of the cleaning service on departure. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Additional leisure activities include a kids' club, live music and a casino.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request.

    This hotel is situated overlooking the beautiful lake Bled, stunning location and a really beautiful hotel. Yes the rooms do need a renovation but they will be doing this at the end of the season . The rooms are small but clean, bed not that comfortable and the storage is poor , wardrobe doors don’t close and the dressing table drawers keep opening on their own!Staff are all lovely & friendly. The food is different, strange mixture of things but all served well presented. I’m vegetarian and there was little choice .     A 5-star view (if room is on lake side)

    The only thing 5-star about this hotel is the 5-star lakeside view. The rest is mediocre, except for the outrageous prices. Example: $30 for a simple gin and tonic served by a grumpy bar tender doubling as a room-service carrier pigeon. And while waiting for the bartender to appear, a trip to the reception desk to inquire of his whereabouts ended with no attendant at the reception desk (at 5:00 in the afternoon). If you are into early 20th century decor and furnishings with a convention-center ambience, this is your place. The room we had was comfortable with a beautiful view and balcony. But everything else was dated, including the thermostat that was stuck at a meat locker 18. 5 degrees C. And then there are the bathroom appointments. If you want a shower, prepare for a most quaint experience: a half-complete glass enclosure that doesn’t adequately contain the water from a shower head that has to be rigged by the user to sit on a pole-mounted bracket. And that can only be accomplished once one has vaulted over a bathtub skirt wedged in behind the bathroom door (if open) that measures at least 2” above my knees (I’m 5’9” tall). I guarantee it’s not an easy maneuver for someone who’s reasonably athletic, damn near dangerous for my wife (coming in at 5’4”). Finally,there’s the resident restaurant. After my experience with the bar, I knew I was in for sticker shock, and, based on breakfast offering, I expected long on price and short on delivery. The dinner menu didn’t disappoint on either score, though,admittedly, i didn’t venture a tasting (given the expected value shortfall). Look for an alternative, if you are expecting luxury value for luxury prices.     Super Hotel located in a perfect lakeside position. Hotel is due a refurb at the end of the season and needs it. The Food , we were 1/2 board, was fabulous. The waiting staff exemplary.     Excellent stay, with a great location. The front desk were great the only issue was the unfortunate construction going on at the front of the location. The dust and gravel made a mess so I usually went in and out on the ground floor near the spa and then up a floor to access the checkin lobby. The room was nice and the patio with views were wonderful. The wifi was fast and easy to connect. Very clean and classy.     Exceptional Service with dramatic views

    Our recent stay was our fifth stay at the GH Toplice. It's a step back in time for us and we love it. We always get a balcony room with Lake views that is exceptional. They are updating rooms annually and have been very meticulous with using different updated rooms as models for feedback to make sure they get the best results. We have stayed in one of the test rooms and it's very nice! I have always had the best service at the hotel. The front desk is always helpful and friendly. Breakfast is fantastic with a great setting and service. Housekeeping always keeps our room refreshed and the Spa staff always takes good care of us during our stay. Thank you so much!
