Location

This hotel is quietly located overlooking the lake with a bathing platform. The centre of Bled with its many shopping and entertainment venues as well as connections to the public transport network is only 200 m away. The nearest skiing area with cross-country tracks and ski slopes is only 200 m from the hotel.

Facility

10 suites, 20 single rooms and 140 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the lake view from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday.     Just spent one week in this hotel overlooking lake Bled in Slovenia and would recommend you take a room with a view as it was beautiful. The hotel itself is in an elevated position so there are slopes or steps to climb up from the lake and it does not have any kerb appeal but this is more than off set by the views from the balconyWe were halboard and food was reasonable plus buffet style but entertainment afterwards was sparse in so far as we only had a lounge pianist for about 3 evenings without which there was little atmosphere, but he was a very good musician.There are nearby bars however if you don’t mind the uphill walk back afterwards Staff were very friendly and a special mention in that respect to two very lovely and helpful ladies Jovana who put up with my attempts to give her Italian lessons and Sanja who went the extra mile at breakfast and made me porridge most mornings.Martino Tomaz Jastrobnik, Guest Services / Front Office at Rikli Balance Hotel, responded to this review Dear Mr. Martino,Thank you for sharing your experience with us.     The hotel has a perfect location, and the facilities are excellent. The rooms and common areas are very well maintained, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable.The only aspect that could be improved is the reception service. The staff at the front desk are not very welcoming and often seem unhappy, which gives a less friendly first impression.On the other hand, I would like to give five stars to the chef who prepares the breakfast omelets. They are delicious, freshly made, and the chef is kind and professional, making breakfast one of the highlights of the stay.Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend the hotel, especially because of its fantastic location and excellent facilities.     We stayed here while on a small group tour with Gate 1. As we are from the USA we generally arrive a day or two early to adjust to the time change. If you stay here ask for a room overlooking Bled Lake, it’s a spectacular view!We found the room and bed comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast.     Nice Hotel with amazing view

    Hotel was nice and in a great location. We stayed in a suite with a lake view - the view was absolutely incredible. Room was very spacious. The pull out couch wasn’t amazing, but it worked. Breakfast was not amazing. It was decent, but they ran out of things quickly as the hotel was very busy. Pool was very nice! Clean, many options, and slide was fun.     This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the lake. There are plenty of restaurants around. Room was comfortable but A/C was not working. With the heavy blanket supplied, it got a little warm even in early May. The shower glass door covers only half the width of the stall, with water splashing on the floor.
