  Stunning views

  08 Jun 2026

Just spent one week in this hotel overlooking lake Bled in Slovenia and would recommend you take a room with a view as it was beautiful. The hotel itself is in an elevated position so there are slopes or steps to climb up from the lake and it does not have any kerb appeal but this is more than off set by the views from the balconyWe were halboard and food was reasonable plus buffet style but entertainment afterwards was sparse in so far as we only had a lounge pianist for about 3 evenings without which there was little atmosphere, but he was a very good musician. There are nearby bars however if you don’t mind the uphill walk back afterwards Staff were very friendly and a special mention in that respect to two very lovely and helpful ladies Jovana who put up with my attempts to give her Italian lessons and Sanja who went the extra mile at breakfast and made me porridge most mornings.Martino Tomaz Jastrobnik, Guest Services / Front Office at Rikli Balance Hotel, responded to this review Dear Mr. Martino,Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the stunning views of Lake Bled and appreciated the beauty of your room. It is indeed one of our highlights, and we encourage guests to consider rooms with a view for an unforgettable stay.We acknowledge your feedback regarding the hotel's accessibility and entertainment options. While our elevated position offers breathtaking scenery, we understand that the walk back from the lake can be challenging. We appreciate your understanding that our entertainment schedule is designed to create a relaxing atmosphere, and your comments regarding the lounge pianist will be reviewed for future enhancements. It is heartening to know that our staff, particularly Jovana and Sanja, contributed to your enjoyable stay. We take pride in our team’s commitment to providing exceptional service. Thank you once again for your thoughtful review, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.Tomaž JastrobnikHead Of Guest Experience,Sava Hoteli Bled

  Amazing

  08 Jun 2026

The hotel has a perfect location, and the facilities are excellent. The rooms and common areas are very well maintained, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The only aspect that could be improved is the reception service. The staff at the front desk are not very welcoming and often seem unhappy, which gives a less friendly first impression. On the other hand, I would like to give five stars to the chef who prepares the breakfast omelets. They are delicious, freshly made, and the chef is kind and professional, making breakfast one of the highlights of the stay.Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend the hotel, especially because of its fantastic location and excellent facilities. Tomaz Jastrobnik, Guest Services / Front Office at Rikli Balance Hotel, responded to this review Dear Mr./Ms. Navigator10433740022,Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback following your stay with us.We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our location, facilities, and the overall condition of both the rooms and public areas. Freshly prepared omelettes are a guest favourite, and it is wonderful to hear that both the quality of the food and the professionalism of our colleague contributed positively to your experience. We will be pleased to share your compliments with him personally. At the same time, thank you for your honest observations regarding the reception experience. First impressions are important, and while we are pleased that your overall stay was a positive one, we will review your comments with the team as part of our ongoing commitment to warm, attentive hospitality.Thank you once again for your recommendation. Great Stay

  26 May 2026

We stayed here while on a small group tour with Gate 1. As we are from the USA we generally arrive a day or two early to adjust to the time change. If you stay here ask for a room overlooking Bled Lake, it’s a spectacular view!We found the room and bed comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast. Very good staff!I would stay here again. Tomaz Jastrobnik, Guest Services / Front Office at Rikli Balance Hotel, responded to this review Dear Ms. Lisa,Thank you for your wonderful review and for choosing Rikli Balance Hotel during your visit to Lake Bled.We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the comfort of your room, the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel, and our breakfast selection. It is especially rewarding to know that our team contributed positively to your experience. We completely agree that the lake-view rooms offer one of the most spectacular panoramas in Bled, and we are pleased that you were able to enjoy those memorable views during your stay.Thank you once again for your kind recommendation. Nice Hotel with amazing view

  24 May 2026

Hotel was nice and in a great location. We stayed in a suite with a lake view - the view was absolutely incredible. Room was very spacious. The pull out couch wasn’t amazing, but it worked. Breakfast was not amazing. It was decent, but they ran out of things quickly as the hotel was very busy. Pool was very nice! Clean, many options, and slide was fun. Tomaz Jastrobnik, Guest Services / Front Office at Rikli Balance Hotel, responded to this review Dear Jacqueline U,Thank you for your kind feedback regarding your recent stay at Rikli Balance Hotel. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the stunning lake view from your suite and appreciated the spacious accommodations. We are also delighted that you enjoyed our pool facilities.Sincerely,Tomaž JastrobnikHead Of Guest Experience,Sava Hoteli Bled

  Conveniently located hotel

  23 May 2026

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the lake. There are plenty of restaurants around. Room was comfortable but A/C was not working. With the heavy blanket supplied, it got a little warm even in early May. The shower glass door covers only half the width of the stall, with water splashing on the floor. Tomaz Jastrobnik, Guest Services / Front Office at Rikli Balance Hotel, responded to this review Dear Mr./Ms. J4646VDmichaelk,Thank you for sharing your feedback following your stay at Rikli Balance Hotel. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the location, allowing easy access to Lake Bled and the surrounding restaurants. We are, however, sorry to read that the room temperature affected your comfort. During seasonal transitions in early spring, warmer daytime temperatures combined with cooler nights can occasionally create challenges in balancing cooling and heating regimes. Additional blankets are also available in the room as part of our standard setup, though lighter alternatives can always be arranged through reception upon request.Regarding the shower screen, the bathroom design follows the original room concept; nevertheless, we appreciate your observation regarding water splashing and will share it internally as part of our ongoing review process.Thank you once again for your comments and for staying with us.Best regards,Tomaž JastrobnikHead of Guest ExperienceSava Hotels Bled
