  No air conditioning even though it is advertised when temperature was 80 degrees Fahrenheit

  Booked this hotel for an overnight stay due to its proximity to the train station. We checked in on a hot day and noticed that the window in the room was open. We closed it since it was a ground floor room and the window was facing the main outdoor access to the lobby and provided no privacy with it open. . This hotel highlights that all rooms are air conditioned. I saw a mini split on the wall so I didn’t doubt AC was available. As the room heated up I tried to locate a remote to see what the temperature on the AC was set to. There wasn’t a remote control in the room so I went to check at the front desk. The women working the front desk said the owner had not given them the remotes and that they had been asking for them due to the temperature. Keep in mind the day was 80 + degrees Fahrenheit. I asked if any of the other rooms had air conditioning and was told no. I said I would be leaving to find a hotel with AC. Don’t book this hotel if you want to have AC. I was told that there would be no refund either. Evidently the owner doesn’t feel like it was hot enough. Maybe the owner should update their website indicating what the magic number is for them to allow AC to be used. Also know this hotel is in the path for helicopters accessing the hospital so it is also noisy. I could have handled the noise but the refusal to allow the AC to be turned on was unacceptable.

  Fantastic little hotel, great owners

  Great little hotel . Clean , nice rooms . The staff are fantastic, nothing is to much trouble .Yes the hotel is a little on the outskirt of the center but near the train and bus station for traveling around. An uber into town is only 3 or 4 euros.We stayed in winter and loved it. I should imagine in the summer with the balcony it's fantastic. Thanks to Marina for making us so welcome

  Staff and breakfast amazing, both ladies working there were so welcoming , the breakfast was fantastic and we got really well looked after.The beds are clean and comfortable and the hotel itself is really clean.If your on a budget this place is ideal.It's fairly close to the train and bus station and about 20 mins into the city centre by foot.The only negative is it's a little noisy by a busy road.If in ljubljiana 🇸🇮 again I would stay here .

  This Hotel is a bit quirky with a lot of different with a lot of Quirly things scattered around like motivational quotes in different places throughout the hotel I have just seen other reviews with bad rooms but out rooms were great and we had no issues. The staff were great and all were friendly. One of the rooms we received was not ideal due to noise and to be fair they gave us a different room. The Hotel was near the hospital but in general the noise didnt effect us. What I really liked was the breakfast and the fact that they made fresh eggs whatever way you wanted them. The other thing that I did like was that it was only a ten min walk from Train & Bus station but the walk into center was a little longer. Good value hotel.

  Overpriced, noisy and a manager who decides guests cannot use aircon

  This hotel was a 700 metre level walk from the main railway station.Pleasant receptionist Anna said there would be ambulances to and from the nearby hospital i.e. sirens blaring.What she didn't say was how my room would suffer badly from traffic noise. In 40 years of staying in hotels, I would struggle to recall any other establishment as bad.Plus at 2330 hours, there were people talking outside my room.The hotel is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues as there are steps everywhere.My bedroom had a double bed, desk, two upholstered backless stools and a wardrobe.There was heating and an airconditioner. I searched for the aircon controllef. I could not find. Anna said "the manager had removed them as it is heating season". Since I find European hotels to be stuffy, my ability to turn on aircon was denied. Outrageous!The small bathroom had a glass shelf that jutted out too far above the sink. Potentially dangerous.The showerhead would not stay in the ideal position. Hot water flowed OK, but the shower repeatedly flooded the bathroom despite my effort to keep the semi-circular shower doors tightly closed.WiFi worked well. The TV had BBC and CNN.The breakfast had yoghurt, pastries, cereal and poor quality juice. Some hot items could be cooked to order.I cannot recommend this hotel. It was greatly overpriced.
