Location

This modern, luxury hotel is ideally situated at the heart of the city of Ljubljana. Scores of shops and entertainment attractions, restaurants, public transport as well as renowned tourist attractions are located in the immediate vicinity. Ski slopes and lifts are easily reached on foot. The train station lies around 700 m away and the airport is roughly 25 km from the hotel.

Facility

12 junior suites, 5 suites, 56 single rooms and 112 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by 3 lifts. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop.     Everything fine except for the room temperature.

    Clean room with refrigerator. Excellent breakfast, including Prosecco. Very fast internet, but signal occasionally dropped. 15 minute walk from bus/train station. Elizaveta at front desk was exceptionally courteous and helpful. The nights were cold. Guests are unable to adjust the room temperature. It was necessary for the housekeeping staff to bring an electric heater to keep the room warm.Room safe was on top shelf of closet. I needed to stand on a chair to retrieve items.

    It is ordinary Best Western hotel, but definitely not Premier. Premier has to be luxurios, but it is not. Rooms are old and outdated, but clean and bed is comfortable. Location is fabulous and breakfast is delicious. There are renovation works, so at 7 they start. If you like to sleep longer choose another hotel.

    Great location but noisy building work

    The location is fantastic and easy to walk to most places within the city centre. The reception area is nice but somewhat misleading. The room and corridors are dated with worn carpet and furnishings. The hotel is currently being renovated which is not made clear when booking. The construction noise starts from 7am daily with almost constant drilling. The construction workers were right outside my window so I often kept the curtains closed which meant I had no natural light and there was only 1 small functioning light within the room so artificial light was also very limited.

    Hotel is in a pedestrian area which is nice. Very close to the river and main square. All reachable in a few minutes. The rooms are very spacious and somewhat old fashioned which is charming. Toiletries are provided. No wash cloth!!! The breakfast buffet is wonderful and plentiful. The hotel has a cafe downstairs which has great coffee and lovely pastries. The front desk is extremely friendly and efficient. They all speak good English which is appreciated. I definitely would consider that hotel again. Reaching it by car can be a bit problematic; we came with a car and driver and he had to let us out about a 1/2 block away. When booking an excursion with hotel pick up, the driver can stop briefly in front of the hotel. Ljublijana is a wonderful city with lots of things to do and good!!!! food everywhere. We enjoyed the castle, the nice old churches and even a small cruise on the river under the bridges. For longer excursions I recommend Lake Bled and the castle, the caves or a tour of wineries.

    I made a trip through Europe, the first night I slept at this hotel.Extraordinary well located, on the pedestrian street of the old center.If you arrive by car, as I did, you have a little problem.Google Maps takes you to 200 m from the Hotel, from where you have to get to the hotel on foot.At the reception they explain that you are allowed to enter on the pedestrian street by car, leave the keys at the reception where they take care of it.I think they should communicate with the hotel in advance, I sent an email in advance to them, but I did not receive a response30 euros/day parking... quite expensive, but assumedThe hotel is old, a renovated building. For the same money you can stay in a newer hotel, but the location makes up for it.You are 5-7 minutes from the old downtownBreakfast ok, employees are helpfulRating: 7.5/10
