English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service.     Good hotel unless you want to sleep. We booked a 2 room suite for our family. Unfortunately those rooms are across from the bell tower going off all night and early morning. Also the alley is loud all night. We are here right now and so disappointing

    Decline of a landmark hotel

    My third visit, the second since Eurostars took the hotel over in 2022.Great location, beautiful interior, very friendly staff , but Eurostars management mean that this is now a three star hotel masquerading as a four star. I booked a junior suite ( nice room ) for my wife and I four months in advance . The hotel does a good business in weddings, including on the night of our arrival, and our room, 168 , was almost next to the wedding venue , which had no effective sound proofing , so we had to endure very loud amplified music, live and disco , until 4.30 am. The only way to try and get some sleep ( unsuccessfully ) was to sleep on the floor of the bathroom with its door closed, which is not what I was expecting for €350 per night. This room should never have been sold to customers other than wedding guests, on that night. Our car park charges ( €80 ) were removed as compensation on automatic checkout ; if the hotel has a manager , he did not contact us during the remaining two days of our stay.Eurostars have also cancelled the bar , a lovely room . It is still there and looks like a bar , but is unstocked and unstaffed . The website mentions " unique dining options at cosy intimate restaurants ", which is Eurostarsspeak for the Kavarna Cafe , which is a nice space, but that is it. The fitness centre consists of two room, one with weights , and the other with two treadmills , both of which were broken. The small pool was open, but the photograph in the website makes it appear far bigger than it is .We shall not be returning.

    Good hotel, very clean. Great bed and pillows. Breakfast was good.Location good for the attractions only 10 minute walk. Very easy to find everything. Quite corporate but that was fine.

    Superb hotel right in the heart of town .. location cannot get any better ! A 5-7 min walk to the bus station and a 1 min walk to the triple bridge .. Rooms are great : spacious , bright and updated . We were not affected by the pool or spa as we did not need to use it . Breakfast was lovely .. many cooked and hot options with eggs to order as well ... service was good. Thank you for making our stay at Ljubljana wonderful
