  The worst hotel room

  I'm staying here for a week. The hotel is ok, its clean, close to the sea and the staff is nice. But I'm pretty sure that I've got is one of the worst hotel room I've stayed in. It's crummy like being in a cellar. No balcony and the "seaview" is a tiny window facing the sea. There is no safe and the curtains are so small that they don't cover the window so it interrupts my sleep in the morning.I asked for another room but I was offered was even worse. I'm very disappointed with my choice of hotel in Piran

  Lovely hotel right on the beach at Fiesa.

  Beautiful situation right on the shoreline with easy, private access to the sea which was lovely for swimming. Lovely room with small balcony overlooking the sea, very accessible by lift. It was very clean and quiet. Dining was indoors or outside on the terrace with a beach bar right by the sea. Breakfast was self service with an excellent choice. Evening meals were also very enjoyable. The staff on the desk were very helpful and dealt with a room problem we had. Slight downside was that we had thought that the hotel was situated in the old town of Piran which was actually best accessed by a 15 minute, easy path walk. Piran is a lovely old town with a huge choice for eating, shopping, accessing beach and other activities.

  Nice stay on the water

  This hotel felt very clean. Our room felt spacious, nice balcony overlooking the water. Wonderful breakfast options. We won’t leave hungry. Dinner at the restaurant decent. Appreciate Darrin at the front desk. He always seemed to be there. I gave it four stars instead of five stars because twice the Cleaning crew walked into the bedroom early in the morning and we did not have a sign on the door telling them to come in to clean. As a matter of fact, we were sound asleep as it was around 8 AM and then again around 9 AM. That part was definitely not appreciated.

  Lovely hotel but be prepared to walk 20-25 minutes (on a pretty walk) into the town.

  We had a lovely one night stay at the Hotel Barbara. We would have liked to stay another night but it was fully booked. Our room, 204, was really nice with a view onto the ocean and a small balcony with two chairs. Our only slightly niggle about the room was there was a 10cm step as you came out of the room which we both tripped up or down many times. The hotel is right on the coast and there are stone areas to sit with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. There are steps with railings to get into the sea - it was a lovely place to swim, so much so that we got up at dawn up have another swim before breakfast.Parking is tricky in Piran but we parked in a public area about 5 minutes walk away. We left our car there for two nights and one full day which cost £30. There is a shuttle bus from Hotel Barbara to Hotel Piran in the centre of town which was handy. There is also a beautiful walk on a path around the coast which we did in the day and also at night. It took about 25 minutes and was really lovely. We bathed off the path a few minutes from the hotel when the sun was very high as there was good shade there.The breakfast food and eating area were very nice with a good buffet food. We had a drink at the outdoor bar before leaving which wasn't so great as the music was blaring loud.

  A great place to chill

  Loved this place. It's got a 50s vibe decor that's really fun and is on a beautiful location with lots of lounge chairs and stairs that lead to the Adriatic for a swim. The restaurant is really good and so is the free breakfast. It's a lovely 15 minute walk along the waterfront to the Old Town of Piran. Glad we stayed here.
