Excellent location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast

Excellent location in the heart of Piran and right on beach. We had a room with sea view. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Arman who booked our room and helped us hire a car to travel to bled and Ljubljana. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location is fantastic - right on the water, and the swimming was the highlight of our trip. But the facilities were lackluster. The air conditioning never cooled the room; we reported it three times and each time the front desk tried to help, but when we asked for facilities to look at it they just said that's how it is here. They offered another room, but it was smaller with the same fault lights. Breakfast was excellent. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was overpriced with deplorable service. Would we stay again? Maybe, maybe not.

Amazing location on the sea front. The positives were super location, lovely breakfast, very friendly staff. The negatives and I agree with what most have said for the cost the rooms seem very run down. We only stayed a night at the end of our holiday but it was a very small room and it all felt a bit tired.

We stayed for 2 nights, Aug. 13 & 14th. We arrived early and the front desk staff were welcoming and offered for us to leave our suitcases in a space near the desk. We did leave our suitcases there , but they should have a secured area. We were given a room on the 4th floor, city view. The room was underwhelming. To the right, when entering the room, is the bathroom. The bathroom was clean and the amenities worked. The shower just has just a glass panel and half of the shower area is open so that when the shower is running the water goes all over the bathroom floor, even after trying to dam it with a towel. There was not anything to open our suitcases onto so we just had them lying on the floor. The lighting in the room is mediocre. The bed is very firm, and the pillows were horribly lumpy. As another reviewer mentioned there is a live band that plays from 9pm until after midnight and it is very, very loud (even with the window closed). Luckily I had ear plugs and my husband can sleep through anything. There is a private sun deck and it costs EUR 25 per day for 2 towels and an umbrella. The positives are the location, the staff (Dorothea the masseuse was lovely and very skilled), the roof-top deck, the lobby was lovely, and the breakfast was amazing. For the price per night, this hotel needs to upgrade the rooms. I would not recommend this hotel, based on value for money
