Better use your money elswere. The rooms were not cleaned properly, they never replaced the shower gel or shampoo that was used. At breakfast or dinner always something went wrong od they run out of something or a machine didn't work. Fitness is a room with 2 machines. And the spa they clean without cleaners, just water and the same cloth for everything. I don't even wanna think about the fungus and bacteria all around.. and yes.. the hotel and anexxe is falling apart slowly. Also the personell looks (with 2 exceptions I met) like they don't care about anything..

Two nights in Portoroz
23 Sept 2025
Stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel itself is clean but a bit outdated. It's a 10min walk away from the bigger tourist center in Portoroz. We had unfortunately a room on the side of the hotel (not facing the sea) and there where big trees in front so you couldn't really see much. The big pool near the beach is nice. The pools from the metropole hotel are in need of some renovation. There where a lot of lose tiles and you can see there was a lot of wear on the pools already. Also the whirlpools are all out of service. The breakfast is nice, there's a lot of choice

Says it’s a four star but somethings are lacking. Non smoking yet others are smoking on the deck of the pool.

This hotel claims to be smoke free and yet customers are smoking by the pool and life guard says nothing. The pool by the beach is showing wear and tear.

Well-Priced Stay with Sea View Balcony and Excellent Meals
02 Aug 2025
Portorož is just 11 minutes from Piran and makes for a pleasant seaside getaway. The hotel is well located, with a casino, spa, and several restaurants on site – and there's even a DM store right across the street. We really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, which were both high-quality and offered plenty of variety. Overall, excellent value for money.

Not up to standard for four or five stars
04 Sept 2024
We went for a 4 day trip in summer to the Remisens casa Rosa Hotel, and booked a half board for 2 rooms/ 3 persons. Even though the location and view from the hotel are very nice, there is no way this can be classified as a four star or five star hotel. We booked two rooms. The rooms were not properly cleaned but just in the “necessary” superficial way. After wiping everything down on our own, the wipes were dirty and dark. The walls in the hotel were dirty. There were spots on the wall from some strange liquid substances right next to the bed. In one of the rooms the bathroom was full of fungus. The power outlet in one of the rooms was falling out of the wall. The A/C worked great for the heat, but also made strange rattling sounds throughout the night. The garage costs 20 euros per night. (In our reservation email it said it would be 14 euros) the spaces are very narrow. There is no way to get from the garage to the hotel directly. You have to take two elevators and walk through numerous pathways which is not the best activity in the summer heat. There is no way to reach the beach directly from the pool. You have to walk through the entire pool area, and walk around it in order to get into the ocean. The pool is located directly at the beach. There seems to have been a door from the pool fence in the past, since there is also a direct pathway leading to the ocean, but it is blocked by sunbeds now. The pool has rust in it which is very unappealing. The pool should be for hotel guests only, but there are many people from the outside as well, since nobody really cares to check if the guests are hotel guests or not. The people at the desk were more concerned with their phones than checking entrance cards. Breakfast and dinner are up to standard, even though the prices of the beverages at dinner are ridiculous. 3 euros for 0,5litres of water, which costs 0,50 euros in the shop 100 meters away. The staff is friendly but overwhelmed and understaffed. We will for sure, not be returning.
