    Be careful

    rating27 Sept 2025

Overall it was good and I would definitely recommend, BUT. Probably the main reason you are going in this specific hotel is thir thermal spa. They were closed and it wasn´t anywhere written. They gave us a permition to go to their other hotel which was aroud 10 minut walk (kinda annoying). Second minus was parking. Every time we wanted to go for our car we had to wait for a shuttle bus to take us to the parking lot in ANOTHER village next to Portoroz. It was about 10 min car ride. So you had your car completely unsecured, just hoping you won´t get robbed. I expected better rooms for such hotels, but cleaning and everything else was fine. Food is delicious and literally everyone will choose. They also have written on their websites that EVERY room has a balcony. That is not true, we did not have balcony. Overall good.

    Not good at all

    rating14 Sept 2025

Don’t get me wrong the hotel has a nice location and probably there are not that many better hotels in Portoroz, but it is quite outdated. The rooms are spacious, but the design is old. The pool area is terrible, I went there ones and did not have any wish to go back, smelly huge , mass market pools, which feel like not a posh hotels ones , but like some municipal ones. The beach is not bad, but you still have to pay for loungers and you have to bring the towels from the room. The breakfast is good though, nothing to complain here. The cleaning staff is good, very fast and cleaning it at the high standards. The amenities in the rooms , like shampoos, shower gel are of a good quality. But they do not have any coffee and tea making station, which I did not see in any hotel for a long time. I don’t understand how difficult can it be to have at least a kettle in the room? The positive is their cafe downstairs , it is more newly renovated and quite pleasant to chill. Also the Thai spa in their sister hotel is fantastic, we used it on a numerous occasions and all the therapists were good, so well worth checking it out. Also all receptionists were good, except from Jelena. When we were checking out and by the way we had two rooms and stayed here for 6 or 7 nights ( so pretty good guests I would say) and we asked to have slightly late check out at least for one room, she did not bother to do anything, and “ kindly” offered us extra 30 minutes. … Sorry you do not ask for 30 minutes… I heard that the other receptionist let the other fellow extra 2 hours , that fellow had also two rooms and was alllowed to keep one longer. Also on the other occasions at the same hotel the other guest was allowed. So if I were hotel manager, I would not keep Jelena there at all. Therefore terrible service .I would not get back to this hotel and would no one recommend it .

    Needing a Serious Management Shakeup!

    rating17 Jun 2025

Arrived here as part of a Titan holiday break, the hotel entrance is appealing and pleasant. The room an alleged upgrade because of a prior experience, fell short of the mark considering what we paid! The TV reception was extremely poor and the TV unwatchable! I raised it twice and they didn’t attend to the problem! The only hotel without an iron, offering only a laundry service, two days to clean and press something that is already clean, simply needed a quick press, €6 for the shirt, and it would be ready on the day we departed! The other point to mention, the restaurant food was good, sadly let down by the most miserable staff one could ever imagine, rude, unhelpful and in desperate need of “happy pills” the maitre d’hôte was extremely pleasant though simply the team players were not so!Also when we booked we were advised the spa facilities were included, yes some were but not the sauna, €15 extra per person for the stay!Given the cost of the rooms €250 per night, seriously lacking in many regards!

Missing a tea pot in room

    rating14 May 2025

Hotel itself was nice, only wew were missing a tea pot in room. For this prize and 4 star hotel you would expect this. Otherwise room very big, clean and food at breakfast good. Overall experience is good. We had partly sea view room so that was nice.

    good service,kind people

    rating17 Jan 2025

the hotel is very clean, little bit "older equipment" in some rooms, but still value the money you pay. Been here twice before (summer/winter) and I think the food in the summer is a little bit better (more choice at dinner time, more fish stuff...),but I understand, some things grow and are products of summer time :)Rooms are always clean, towels are chanced every day...they really provide good service.Indoor pools in Terme Portorož are soooooo cold. Was reading comments from other people, some agree with me. They need to turn up the heating :) :)
