    25 years of good service

    rating26 Jul 2026

Excellent location and well maintained facilities. Internet speed is 50Mbps up/down, reliable and is one reason I like this hotel group. They are renovating at the moment but the noise is only during limited business hours so it never bothered me. I avoid gluten and dairy to I eat elsewhere. Across the road is Barneys and a wimpy so breakfast and dinner are taken care of. The staff here have always been friendly. Their security guard operates 24*7. I have been coming here for over 25 years without incident or complaints. There's a large shopping centre nearby and a smaller one too. Close to the airport with the sea being across the road. I have enjoyed my stay so much, thank you to the wonderful service and your friendly and always ready to assist staff Phila, Nosipiwo, Zikhona, Babalwa, Charlie and Wonga. My room was fresh and clean thanks to the housekeeping department; I was just unhappy with how long our orders took about an hour or soExcellent location and very convenient - small TV's with limited channels need some improvements Roseline D, General Manager at Road Lodge Gqeberha, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to review us. Right by the beach and close to airport (5 km)

    rating26 May 2025

It was a perfect place to stay as far as location. The staff was wonderful. They even had a plug for me to use so I could use my US outlets because the one I brought din't work. The staff was very helpful with luggage and any information! Very caring! Small room. Clean! Ocean so close, but not safe to walk there. No wash clothes or tissue.
