    We had a very relaxing stay here and would recommend this hotel.the restaurant was closed because of the Christmas break but Frank was fantastic and helpful and we had an enjoyable stay.     The hotel is an absolute joy, and oasis in a busy busy place. We had booked for 6 nights to visit family nearby.On arrival after an overnight flight our room wasn't ready as we were there 6 hours before check in. The reception staff offered us refreshments and access to a hugely comfortable seating area while our room was being prepared. The room was great, with a super large bed and was tastefully appointed in keeping with the feel of the hotel.The food and drink was exceptional. It was only outdone by the staff who were incredibly attentive, polite and very friendly. I unfortunately can't recall all of their names from the manager Chris, to the receptionists including Alice, the bar/waiting staff, including Felix, Nkosi, Grace and Terrence.     We had out yearend function at this venue, best experience of my life, 5 star food, 5 star treatment, the people are the best of the best. Will recommend this place to anyone and everybody.     A lovely place with lots of character and decoration and original African paintings. It is a single storey place and each room has its own little outside terrace. The food is very good and the staff are professional, pleasant and helpful.It is a million miles from the chrome and glass, characterless, city hotels. It feels warm and personal.
