    Done with them for live.Agora price R1684. But I like to save the hotels the comm.At the counter they would not lodge off R2060. I pd.Today I wanted to extend - same price of R2020 But website price $1735. Their own website!I feel abused. I checked out forever. (Room 181)Ps - stayed there many times.     Terrible plumbing and matrass from the 1970s

    We have been staying at City Lodge Lynnwood a few times, always happy with choice. This time the matrass was so terribly worn, it gave way too much and you could feel the inner workings. Sleep was poor, we didn’t rest at all. Then the basin was slow to drain as we checked in, by next morning it didn’ drain at all. Last straw was wanting to shower and the water was gushing out the top like a garden sprayer all over ceiling and floor little water in the shower. All this should have been picked up by housekeeping when cleaning. Terrible stay terrible experience. We had to call manager move all our stuff to next room just to shower. Terrible!!     My 2 jackets were stolen from my room

    Unfortunately, while attending an academic conference at the University of Pretoria, my 2 jackets were stolen from my room 510. I reported the matter to the manager -Wania Malik who promised to do an investigation. What is surprising is that my two jackets were inside the wardrobe together with my 6 shirts and the thief only selected my jackets and left shirts. Wania inquired from both the cleaning lady and the maintaince guy and both said that they didn't take take the jackets. What complicates the investigation is that, beside the cameras around the elevator area, they are no cameras along the Hotel corridors. I wonder who had access to my room. Till today, I havent recovered my jackets and I am very disappointed.

    City Lodge Hotel Lynnwood is the best establishment for me in Pretoria. I honestly make sure that I stay here even when I am booked in Johannesburg. I find so much comfort and the peace this place offer. I have established great relationships with the staff as well and I love the service on offer.     I was in Pretoria for work and stayed at the City Lodge Lynnwood for almost a week. The stay was excellent and highlights were the friendly helpful staff and the delicious breakfast. The Botanical Gardens are close by and downtown was accessible by cab. A very pleasant experience.
