    Nice hotel, though not in the best of neighborhoods. There are, though, a shopping center with good restaurants, and live music and theater venues close by.     The food was terrible. I have never eaten such a tasteless & hard steak, when I actually wanted a medium rare steak, instead I got medium well that is very hard to swallow. Looked like it was over defrost on the microwave. I actually had to order food from Mr. Delivery. Im not interested in staying in this City Lodge again. This was on the 27 January 2026.     What could have been an exquisite outing was spoilt by sub-standard food

    The towels are a bit worn out and a bit hard. The Breakfast is too expensive and yet it doesn’t have mince meat and baked beans. Hence very dry.     Nice stay at this hotel for Chris Brown concert

    A Nice hotel for 3⭐ it was clean I like the big walk in shower it was very comfortable around the mallas and shops in Johannesburg close to CBE I definitely stay against was busy because of the Chris Brown concert but they did a wonderful job checking people in and getting rooms ready for guest 💯
