    Great for team builings ,learning each other's strengths and weakness in a fun way ,this was a great experience .lunch was served at Barneys restaurant 😉 solid 10 the food is delicious and affordable 😋

    Parking is in the general parking lot/not under cover. The check in process was very efficient. The room was quite clean and well ventilated. The bed and pillows were super comfy. You get access to the theme park. My kid thoroughly enjoyed the rides.

    last weekend I checked in with my family only to receive a room with flies, an air conditioner that was blowing out extremely hot air, room lights that didn’t stay on for more than 5min, and a tv that froze as soon as we put it on. And to make things worse the bathroom water didn’t go down the drain and the taps were leaking profusely, after calling reception and management numerous of times they were jus ignorant and said we should wait for maintenance, and just so you know reception gave the incorrect room num to the maintenance guy and he was at that particular room instead of ours, we waited for 2hrs before he came to the correct room only to say that the aircon isn’t working because there is to much sun in the room, that’ was utter nonsense. We asked to be moved but we were told that there are no rooms available, and in all of this unpleasantness we need to attend a function and Jhb was experiencing a heat wave, after numerous attempts and fights at reception they then moved us to a room which also had shower and tv issues.And the room that my parents were staying in had an air conditioner that leaked water the entire night and management did nothing about it.The service at reception desk as well as other employees was very disappointing, I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Historic building disgusting service at some areas

    The rooms are clean when you get there on my days off from work at the theatre , I sleep a little late but then room services has an attitude on there faces when I ask them to clean and there are two ladies specifically who I know does it. Here are racist vibes by the cleaners as I am a coloured from Cape Town. I get stares at the buildings and the restaurants. They take their own time to clean. The shuttle drivers are amazing and the staff at the restaurant are well mannered and great but their room service SUCKS! My partners car who was working with me at the shows, was not working ! And we asked for help and the driver was very nice to help us go to the garage for a quick pick up of pads for my girl but the staff in the theme hotel takes there own time . It’s disgusting!!! And also the pool is not clean at all.

    Great stay at theme park hotel

    Visitor from the UK. Wanted a nice, safe hotel for our 3 night stay and definitely got that. Great location obviously being in the theme park of which we had one full day going on the rides (a Friday to avoid the wkend crowds which it was substantially busier on the Saturday).All the rooms facilities were great.Breakfast was really good. Had one evening meal at Barney's. The food was really nice but definitely not the quickest of meals.Spent other evenings at the gold reef casino hotel with all its restaurants there. Walked over the bridge early evening and then got picked up in the shuttle to bring us back.Can't fault the hotel, facilities or the staff.
