    An elegant respite after a 17-hour flight.

    As promised the hotel is steps from the international arrival hall which was really appreciated after a 17-hour flight. Beautfiul art and sculptural lighting in the public places. The suite was luxurious, the reception staff and bellhops are helpful, friendly and welcoming. The morning buffet was underwhelming, so, we ordered off the menu. A real pleasure to stay here!     The Intercontinental is a great hotel for safari travel

    We spent a few days here around safari runs and it is a lovely hotel. Service was exceptional and our room was very nice with plenty of bottled water. Large walk in shower was great. You won't find a more convenient hotel to Tambo Airport. We ate at Quills several times and the service and food were excellent. The included breakfast covered the buffet as well as menu options. Highly recommend this hotel when traveling to or from Tambo airport.
