    We had a lovely weekend away at Kloofzicht. Our room overlooked the dam, and the sunset views were absolutely stunning. The highlight of our stay was the hot air balloon ride the next morning – such a beautiful and magical experience with breathtaking views.We also enjoyed the full breakfast buffet, which was delicious and a great start to the day. Overall, the stay was relaxing, peaceful, and exactly what we needed to unwind.We didn’t get a chance to try the spa this time, but we’ll definitely do so on our next visit. We would happily return and highly recommend Kloofzicht for a relaxing getaway.

    I really enjoyed my stay, the room selected for me was the best, it was next to the lake and that for my was the main reason I booked my stay. So getting a room with the view I got loved it.

    Our stay at the Kloofzicht lodge & spa was, on the whole, a deeply enjoyable and memorable experience - defined by genuine hospitality, calm surroundings, and a strong sense of guest care.From the outset, Masabate and Matsie in Reception and Reservations set a reassuring and highly professional tone. Matsie, in particular, stood out for her calm confidence and the way she presented thoughtful turndown options, giving us complete reassurance that every detail would be taken care of seamlessly. This immediately established trust and set the tone for the rest of our stay.In the restaurant, Yvonne & James demonstrated attentiveness and care. It was my partner’s birthday weekend, and they made a sincere and visible effort to make her feel celebrated, including a warm birthday song and attentive service throughout the breakfast and evening dinner we had planned. At no point did we feel overlooked or unwelcome.Edwin brought a charismatic, engaging presence to the dining experience - friendly, confident, and highly knowledgeable. His openness about his experience at the lodge and the pride he takes in his work made every interaction feel authentic and memorable.Sindo, our porter, left a lasting impression with his friendliness and enthusiasm.
