Location

Ideally located in the city’s business district, this hotel is 20 minutes from Sandton Convention Centre and within walking distance of the Gallagher Estate, the biggest conference centre in the southern hemisphere. It is also conveniently located just 30 minutes from the O.R. Tambo International Airport.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 92 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     I had a wonderful stay at Mercure hotel Midrand, staff are friendly, rooms are clean and they have a set menu for dinner and buffet for breakfast, I will come back again.

    Pillows are soft the carpet is clean, rooms are smelling good, rooms have working station, Aircon and coffee, resealable price and very safe, restaurant food was delicious obsoletely out of this world, receptionist are smelling and willing to assist at all times

    Small, friendly and not so far from the airport this hotel is a great place to stay to recover after a long flight and as a base to explore Johannesburg.Rooms are small but clean. Unfortunately the bar closes early (9pm) but you can stock up and they won't kick you out. Breakfast was good ( mix of local and Western food) but the coffee could've been better.
