Location

The aparthotel has been strategically positioned to overlook the cosmopolitan Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton City, providing guests with access to a variety of restaurants, shops and boutiques, as well as cinemas and theatres in the shopping centre, all within walking distance of the aparthotel.

Facility

The apartment hotel has a lift and features 49 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park (no extra charge). Other services include a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a heating stove. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds and children's beds are available upon request and for a fee. A safe and a desk are also available. A refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave and a tea/coffee station are standard features. There is also a washing machine and an ironing set. Other features include a direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a plug adapter and WiFi (no extra charge). Cleaning on departure is among the services offered. The daily newspaper is laid out for guests in the the rooms. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products.

Sport

Guests can leisurely swim a few lengths of the heated freshwater pool. Sun loungers are ready and waiting on the terrace. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including a gym, a spa, a sauna and a steam bath.

Meals

Dining facilities include a breakfast room and a pub. Guests can indulge their palates at the restaurant (non-smoking, smoking area and à la carte). Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. In addition to breakfast, the hotel also offers lunch and dinner à la carte. Guests can receive vegetarian dishes upon request. Vegan food is also available for an additional charge. For a fee, there are also non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages.

    We booked a 2-bedroom apartment, which was great for us and our 2 children. The apartments are spacious, with nice bathrooms and a kitchen with all necessary amenities. Staff were excellent and attended to requests quickly, good in-house restaurant, indoor pool, sauna. Good location in Sandton and direct access to shopping centre.     What a treat and major convenience it was to stay at the Michael Angelo while exhibiting at Sandton Convention Centre. The porters are amazing and the super helpful. The staff all round goes out of their way to make you feel like you are top priority I really appreciated that. I felt safe enough to leave my daughter at the hotel while I worked across the road.The MichaelAngelo was our home away from home for 5 days and we loved it.
