Location

This exclusive city hotel is located approximately 40 minutes by car from Johannesburg International Airport. An array of shopping venues, numerous restaurants, various bars, cafés, and many more entertainment venues are to be found in the immediate vicinity. A theatre, a cinema, and a casino are also situated nearby.

Facility

The hotel has 246 rooms, including 21 junior suites, 11 suites and 213 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available.     We stayed here at the end of a wonderful, whirlwind safari trip and it was the PERFECT place to relax and unwind. The hotel is stunning, and feels like you've been transported to Italian luxury. The food was great too.In the complex is an exotic bird garden - not to be missed!!! And the casino across the street has so many delicious restaurants and wonderful shops selling African designers and local artisan jewelry as well as international fashion. It really is the perfect base for relaxing or exploring.     The service delivered by staff in this hotel is excellent. If you like old school service, confident , professional staff you will like it here. We are 2 nights into a 4 night stay the weather has been awful ( not the hotels fault obviously) . But the food and service have cheered my sunseeking self up! Special thanks to Jacob, exceptional at the bar. The BA crew are very lively early evening. We like to see people having fun so it hasn't bothered us at all. But it would some!     An oasis of old-world Italian elegance

    At the end of our wonderful African Safari vacation, we opted to stay at the Palazzo to relax, enjoy the casino, shop, and experience some of the restaurants.The Palazzo definitely feels and looks like a grand old Italian palazzo. The hotel is magnificent in every way. From the grand staircase through the beautiful grounds to the enormous pool, we felt like we were royalty. The breakfast was delicious, but we ate most of our meals next door in the gorgeous mall with the casino. Our room was very elegant and well-appointed with wonderfully comfortable beds.Make sure you go next door to the mall/casino. It looks and feels like an authentic Italian village with cobblestone walkways, bridges, and stores/restaurants with Italian styling.Also, be sure to tour the bird sanctuary on the property. It was very enjoyable.I would definitely recommend enjoying a stay here.     Very impressed with this hotel on my first visit. Great attention to detail great pool area great food cleaning was immaculate, and the staff were outstanding in every way they work so hard.
