    Exceptional service throughout our stay. We were upgraded to a penthouse from a junior suite because they honestly shared that the rate we paid for on Expedia was too high! We appreciated that so much! The two story penthouse was immaculately decorated and has a gorgeous view of the golf course. Each sunset and sunrise became a must see where we sipped either coffee or wine at one of the two balconies! There wasn’t much to see around the area but the resort itself had enough to keep you busy, not to mention all the historical sites around Joburg one must visit.Nova restaurant provided us with what we needed. Breakfast was great, we loved Norman!!! Our man anticipated our needs! Dinner menu was sufficient and Clive was wonderful. At the checkin, Blessing gave us the lay of the land! He was a joy!Definitely recommend and would return!

    Fabulous hotel with great customer service

    First time at this hotel and I loved it. It's a very clean, spacious hotel offering exceptional customer service. My flight from London landed at 7am and I was at the hotel by 9am knowing that my room may not be available till after lunchtime. However, when I explained I needed to freshen up for a customer meeting, the manager offered me one of the three 'freshening rooms' they have which really helped me out and was a great facility and gesture.

    The Houghton was exceptional! Friendly and helpful staff and top rooms with a lot of space also for working. They look for their guests in best way and it is as a come home every evening after business work!
