Location

The hotel is set in beautifully landscaped gardens in Sandton. A public transport stop can be found about 50 m from the hotel. A large shopping centre and numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs are approximately 500 m away. The large Sandton Convention Centre and the Montecasino Leisure and Entertainment complex are situated nearby. Facility

The hotel has 6 suites, 214 single rooms and 126 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand.     The rooms make it hard for me to return

    Whilst situated in a park like environment with a superb location to great restaurants and an upmarket mall, the rooms are too much of a let down for us.I am not a fan of carpets in a hotel room. They are unhygienic. The bathrooms in both the rooms I had were poorly designed. There is no door to the bathroom, both the shower and toilet cubicles are tiny with barely any space to move, lack of hooks in the bathroom, I found 1, and if like myself you are travelling with your spouse there is absolutely no countertop space for toiletries. The first room we had was a room with a balcony. The balcony faced a busy rood. With the room being poorly insulated we heard the noise from cars all night long. We moved to a different standard room and while this room was peaceful the bathroom set up was a complete disaster. Breakfast was excellent. There are lots of healthy choices from fruit, variety of good quality nuts, good quality salmon and gluten free bread. As a local from Cape Town I found the staff to not be very welcoming. The check in staff seemed especially robotic and unfriendly.We appreciated the free shuttle which runs on the hour to the mall. Great friendly driver. We certainly enjoyed the beautiful landscaped environment but definitely struggled with the comfort in the rooms which would make it hard to return.

    Second visit and enjoyable stay with bar service improved and room servicing seems to have been contracted out and much improved. Beautiful breakfast. Lovely public areas and shuttle bus to Mall very popular. Had issues in the bar with the noise coming from Qantas aircrew and it was suggested that if I wanted a quiet drink I should go to our room and order room service!!!

    very centrally located and safe, very friendly staff with excellent amenities. I would highly recommend the Maslow for all sorts of travellers as it caters for all.
