    My experience at Valverde was enthralling. The staff realized my every request into reality and my function was superb. I was treated like royalty. The staff refused me to lift a finger but rather me delegate them to live out my fantasy thanksgiving celebration. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Their breakfast had a variety and we thoroughly enjoyed our function and stay. 20 of my guests stayed the night and enjoyed the facilities the next day. Thank you Brenda and her staff for a job well done. My next function and future ones have found themselves a home. Thank you VelvetdeDr SD Govender

    Lovely stayover. Close to Lanseria airport. Clean,well maintained. Most beautiful garden,atmosphere is amazing. Really love this place. You honestly get your money's worth. Beds are huge,friendly staff. Menu looks great,overall genuinely nice experience

    A Countryside Escape Right by Joburg

    Valverde feels like a proper little countryside escape, even though it’s just up the road from Lanseria. The gardens are gorgeous, the staff are genuinely helpful, and everything around weddings/events runs calmly in the background. Rooms are simple, clean, and quiet (bonus: pet-friendly). Food’s hearty and unpretentious. Easy place to recommend—for a wedding, an off-site, or just a slow weekend out of Joburg.

    This is a very unsafe place to stay at. We have been held up by 5 armed robbers and our possessions taken in June 2023. There was no surveillance of the perimeter of the complex and only one person on duty in a cubicle at the main gate.We cut our visit short after this trauma, and the worst part of this is the TOTAL INDIFFERENCE of Valverde Eco Hotel about the events that played out. We didn’t get any communication form them, and certainly not any sort of refund for the rest of our stay not taken up.We are still suffering from the aftermath of this.So be very sure of exactly what measures are in place to ensure your safety should you be brave enough to opt for a stay there.Possibly you can be attacked and support or efficient security measures from Valverde can also possibly be not forthcoming.I personally will not be able to set foot at that establishment again.

    Valverde Eco Hotel Drops the Wedding Ball

    We booked and paid in full on 06 January 2023, for 1 night 06 May 2023. It's our best friend's daughter's wedding. It's far, we don't drive at night and Uber is too costly there and back. Today, 2 days before, we found out they dropped us! No explanation. I even reached out to the owner and GM, JP Valverde, who has not responded, but ordered a refund. It's RUINED the wedding for us, as we can now only go for the afternoon wedding and not the evening anymore. Shame on you guys. You don't deserve any new business!
