    106 on Adderley Street is a cheap and cheerful student accommodation.I was in Cape Town for a conference which was a last minute decision. As such, the reasonably priced accommodation was already booked up - and only the very expensive ones were available. I found the 106 on Adderley on the website. The price was cheap and affordable. At the time of booking, I was not aware that it was student accommodation.There is a 24 hour concierge. I was shown to my room. My first impression of the room was that it was very small and the bathroom was extremely small. The room was a studio with cooking facilities and a sink. The room had a single bed; a very small table; a small flat screen TV; a small wardrobe without any hangers; a fridge. the bathroom had a tiny washbasin, a shower and a toilet. It was so small that it was difficult to move around properly. The accommodation is ideally and conveniently located for the centre of Cape Town. One of the concierge staff members Max told me that they did have larger rooms but these were not available at the time I made my booking. He said that if i wanted to stay in these rooms, I should book much earlier. My room served as a place to rest and sleep during the night. The rest of the time I was out and about. This accommodation is affordable for students. Shops and restaurants are nearby. The Company's gardens are about 5 minutes walk away.If I return to Cape Town, I will check out the larger rooms first before making a decision on whether to stay at this accommodation.The rooms are serviced by the housekeeping team every two or three days.
