  This charming boutique Hotel occupies prime real estate on historic Dorp Street in Stellenbosch's heart, delivering unbeatable location with walking access to restaurants, wine bars, and cultural sites. The staff are genuinely exceptional—friendly, accommodating, and the property's saving grace. LOCATION:Absolutely unbeatable—164 feet from Stellenbosch's historic center on famous Dorp Street. Everything is walkable: restaurants, wine bars, galleries, museums, supermarket literally across the road. Perfect for exploring on foot without needing your car once parked.DINE + DRINK: The complimentary breakfast at TERRA is genuinely exceptional— serving incredibly gourmet dishes you would be raving about long after checkout. The variety, freshness, and quality exceed expectations—this isn't standard hotel breakfast, it's a proper culinary experience inspired by nature and earth. And the freshly roasted coffee was simply out of the world!ROOM: We stayed in Room called BOTANICAL GARDEN , so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Sweet view of the street and the mountains at a distance ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good quality toiletriesFACILITIES: No Gym or pool on site, just pure Winelands LoungingSERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to NOLENE for enhancing our stayHOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, but the speed was a bit SLOW! Big Smart TV but none of the channels were available!

  Very good central location. But the rooms need a make over and are rather “tired”The manager refused to let us use one of the very few parking bays that are available and that happened to be empty when we asked if we could park our car there 2 hours before check in time - because we needed to attend a graduation

  I stayed in a self-catering unit. While I didn't need to cook I certainly could have. The little kitchen was extremely well equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glassware and utensils. The location is great for walking the town. Their restaurant has a delightful breakfast that was included. Some of the best eggs benedict I've ever had! Wish I lived closer as I would definitely return.

  I have already sent a review regarding this hotel. For a so called 5 star place it fell short of a few stars . Noisy corridors .. people , your staff screaming. The corridors all day long whilst cleaning.. there was some alteration happening which was just none stop banging . No coat hangers inn closet , lampno working, plug points in need of repair .. lack of coffee refills … nor even an I umbrella to sit outside in the sat. The wall outside is just such sewage pipes which we could smell . I won’t be back.
