    We booked this Batavia via booking.comWe were not happy with the hotel at all . Hotel has bad smell when you just walk it .. we had to carry our own luggage On the room description the was balcony, patio and terrace…. Our room didn’t have it , there was little space in front of the entrance door with chairs and tables… :( There was no sleepers in the room (also included in the room description) , when we ask hotel staff, answer was , we are waiting for delivery. Room was small and dark We checked out and left

    Very good location near the Town center of Stellenbosch. Furnished old style. Good breakfast. No elevator (lift) only stairs but luggage has been taken care of. Advising about local wineries is only on paper available. Got no further explanation from desk manager(nog wine lover?). No restaurant. No room service. Maintenance of rooms during stay of 2 nights was not existing.

    Fantastic central location.Giant amazing beds.Breakfast hours very short (should be 30 mins longer)No way of walking to rooms or standing outside your room without getting soaking wet. I suggest a covered walkway to the rooms as it rains a lot in Stellies. Also no room to put my suitcase open. I ended up moving the furniture myself.I found this a disappointing hotel. I won't stay here again.

    Tranquel, relaxing, private and very comfortable stay. Beautiful view of mountain and Hotel's decor is absolutely stunning. Walking distance to best stores & restaurants. Staff is absolutely the best.
