Location

This historic hotel is located in the Glen area of Camps Bay, Cape Town. The estate borders Chilworth Road on the mountain side, Victoria Road on the ocean side, as well as the Table Mountain National Park. The hotel is within walking distance of Glen Beach, Camps Bay Beach and Clifton Beaches. Cape Town International Airport is situated approximately 30 km away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 15 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a page service and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a plug adapter, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Going for a swim at the pool complex, which includes indoor and outdoor areas, is a great way to relax. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers tennis. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, bowling and squash. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments.

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day.     Amazing from start to finish - The team were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was perfect and had all the luxury finishing touches one could imagine.     One of a kind retreats!

    I booked the Camps Bay retreat for my parents joined 70th birthdays - and what an experience for them it was! The moment they stepped inside the retreat, they felt at peace. The scenery, sunrise, sunsets, and spectacular service were all remarkable. From the welcome drinks, to the afternoon scones, the birds tweeting as the waves crashed on the shore, the whales in the distance, to the restful evening. The ambiance is incredible, with a restful outdoor setting and indoor authentic library from another era. The rooms are spacious, with a lovely outdoor jacuzzi overlooking Lions Head. The icing on the cake was the superb service from your staff. Benson is such an incredible human, always smiling, always friendly, and so attentive. I hope to see him thrive here, he is such an asset to the retreat. Jermecia is so warm and friendly, spending time to chat with them about their travels. Both of them, as well as the rest of your lovely staff, remembering us every time we would revisit even after our little trip at the retreat.     Lovely and tranquil spot just off the main Camps Bay centre

    This hotel is a stone's throw from the main drag in Camps Bay and, as the name suggests, a beautiful retreat. It's a lovely central building with most rooms distributed across a small bridge that provides amazing views over the site. The accommodation is admittedly a bit of a splurge but food, drinks and services onsite are very good value, service is great and I would really recommend a stay because you're worth it!
