    We stayed with two friends in Villa Gallerie, which is a two bedroom house with its own (small) pool and a lovely terrace. The beds were so comfortable with soft sheets, a great bath as well as a shower. The decor is fun, although a bit modern in places. Wonderful paintings. You have full butler/ chef service in these Le Cle rooms. Nothing is too much trouble. You have a full breakfast served to you, and we ordered a BBQ one evening which was fantastic. Setting up, washing up etc is all done for you and the room is turned down / tidied twice a day. The Le Cle white and rose wines are great, especially the Chardonnay. You are invited for welcome cocktails each evening in the main house and can use the tennis court and the putting area (which needs to have some pitching wedges as they only have putters. ) it would have been nice to have had access to one of the larger pools, as ours was too small to swim lengths. The security is fantastic, with an attentive and friendly management team, always available in their office opposite. The massage services were amazing, and a special call out to Sam who was fabulous. The location is great, with a 7minute walk to the Main Street in Franschhoek. Some of the houses have 4 bedrooms. Our two bedroom one was perfect for us.

    If you are looking for a refined and unforgettable stay in one of the nicest and most pittoresque areas of South Africa then La Cle Village is the right place!We occupied Le Manoir, an old colonial style huge villa with all possible amenities and blessed with real charm. We also had specific dietary requirements (Kosher + allergies) and all efforts were done to meet our requirements, and always with a smile. We spent a few wonderful days in this magnificent property and will for sure be back!I would also like to mention a few individuals who took such good care of our family. Our butler John, Shandre from reception and last but not least the GM Melanie, who provided such a warm and welcoming feel during our stay.

    Gorgeous villa with friendly pup and staff! Stayed in the Domain villa which was lovely. Staff were so friendly especially Astrid John and the lovely security guy with the most darling friendly and welcoming dog. Highly recommend a stay here!

    We booked to stay for 3 nights and ended up staying for 7 we loved it so much. The lodge was beautifully decorated yet had such a wonderful welcoming atmosphere, like staying in someone’s gorgeous home. Melanie was our hostess and organised every detail to perfection. She is also an amazing chef and we had 2 outstanding dinners in the dining room. The setting is stunning, with a pool and vineyard looking into the surrounding mountains. We had wonderful recommendations of restaurants, wineries and things to do in the town. Can’t wait to return. We felt completely refreshed and relaxed after our week.

    We stayed in the Galerie Villa which was superb- lovely staff, beautiful interiors, super garden & pool and we were very happy. The walking distance proximity to Franschhoek’s town centre makes this the ideal place to stay too
