Location

This lodge is located about 3 km from the centre of Stellenbosch.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     What a beautiful place and so friendly staff. The pool room was super and we enjoyed walks around the vineyard. Topped off with a complimentary tasing of their stunning wines. Couldn’t fault the stay - wonderful

    we got a wonderful upgrade, pool area is lovely (even if the pool is a bid cold) but you can enjoy the surroundings. Wine tasting was lovely, we even got convinced to drink Pinotage. Dinner was okay. As we were late in the morning the breakfast was fine. It is a perfect stop to enjoy a wine-tasting.

    This place is a hidden gem, far away from the bigger very touristy wine farms. The staff were lovely, very attentive and helpful. I miss it already and can’t wait to come back.

    Stayedthere as the L'ávenir wines,especially the pinotage, have long been favourites.Was a good choice.Great rooms and hosting.Elmarie who ran everyhting was delightful.Beautiful surrroundings.Will definitely be back.

    The location is fantastic and the grounds are superb. We loved our stay and were very grateful for the free upgrade to a room with a plunge pool. The service was good and Cheslin who did the free wine tasting was excellent. The place does need a little TLC though. We wanted to watch the rugby in the lounge but there was no DSTV and the TV did not work. Breakfast was also great. Response time for the reservation via email was slow but eventually received confirmation. Excellent value for money though!
