I had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with anything needed. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and relaxing.The central location in George was also very convenient. Thank you to the team for the excellent hospitality and service. We would happily recommend Oakhurst Hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Hotel was great with really friendly staff, but the owners need to invest in repairing the shower and the back door in the room we stayed in. Also, George seems to have plenty of 'street racers' at night (exacerbated by last Friday of the month?) which doesn't lead to the best night's sleep.

The hotel was neat and clean and the staff were polite and friendly and helpful. What really frustrated me was that there was no wifi. This is a deal breaker for many people. I had people I needed to contact and kids at home, besides this I wanted to watch a movie. Don't keep this a secret, allow your guests to know that there is no wifi in some of the rooms and offer a discount!

Could not stay due to a faulty air conditioner and extreme temperatures in the room. Was promised a refund but they forgot that once I had left. Their restaurant doesn't open and their bar was understocked. The staff were friendly but that was the only high point. It is a great location and could be so much better.
