  The hotel has a really good atmosphere overall, with stylish rooms that feel modern, comfortable, and well designed. The location is also excellent and makes it very easy to explore the Waterfront and surrounding areas.One of the highlights of the stay was definitely the reception team. Every receptionist we interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful, which made a noticeable difference to the experience.Unfortunately, the housekeeping standards completely undermined the stay for me. While sitting in the room, I watched the cleaner wash the drinking glasses and coffee cups in the bathroom sink using water in which she was repeatedly rinsing the same cloth she had just used to clean the shower and toilet. It was honestly shocking to witness and immediately raised concerns about the hotel’s hygiene practices overall.It is a real shame because the hotel itself has potential, but basic cleanliness protocols are non-negotiable in hospitality. While we are genuinely grateful for your high praise regarding our modern design, prime location, and the warm professionalism of our front-of-house reception team, we are concerned by the housekeeping lapse witnessed in your room.Please accept my most sincere apology and rest assured that our standard operating procedures mandate that all in-room glassware and cups are strictly removed from the room and sanitized in our high-temperature, commercial kitchen dishwashers and never washed inside a guest bathroom sink.Immediate corrective and disciplinary actions have been taken, and our Executive Housekeeper is currently leading mandatory retraining sessions for our entire housekeeping department this week to strictly re-enforce our sanitation rules.We sincerely hope you will give us another opportunity in the future to show you the flawless, immaculate experience that our guests rightfully expect of us.Sincerely,Sean, General Manager

  Blending well in the Cape Town environment!

  This relatively new hotel skilfully blends industrial architecture with elegant decor featuring gilding and crystal, including a few African touches. The hotel is modern and very comfortable. The rooms are functional. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The breakfast is very generous, served in a fabulous dining room. However, I regret the lack of soundproofing in my room, from which I could hear the conversations of my neighbors and whose bed shook when a door in the hallway slammed.   Do not recommend this place if you customer service please this place sucks.

  DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. We were told we were getting luxury accommodations and this is like lower end budget hotel. Room is very small. Staff is not friendly, They did not offer help with our luggage we Had to ask for assistance and wife and I had to carry 2 of them ourselves. We asked for water in our room and they said you need to pay!! We are from USA and advised not to drink tap water and this how we are treated!!! Regarding our concept, we aim to provide an urban, tech-forward experience at the Waterfront. While our rooms are designed for modern efficiency, we do offer various categories of rooms to suit the travellers' needs, including larger options that may have been a better fit for your stay.Regarding the water, while the tap water in Cape Town is among the safest in the world to drink, we understand your preference for bottled water and apologize for any frustration regarding the cost. I am pleased to update you that we have finalised the installation of our very own bottled water plant which will see us add complimentary glass bottled water to all rooms.
