Location

This hotel is located in Cape Town, just 100 m from the famous promenade with its beautiful beach and the impressive backdrop of Table Mountain and Signal Hill. The hotel offers impressive views out over the bay. The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront with its numerous shops and entertainment venues as well as the town centre are just a 5-minute journey away. Links to the public transport network lie in front of the hotel. Cape Town International Airport is just 25 km from the complex.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1861. The hotel has 124 non-smoking rooms, including 6 suites, 35 single rooms and 82 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee.     Hotel was good from the staff to the place in a whole however the highlight was the Relax & Rejuvenate spa inside the hotel. From the moment I arrived , the lady made me feel welcome and completely at ease. The atmosphere was calm , relaxing and beautifully maintained. My treatment was exceptional and I left feeling refreshed , rejuvenated and stress-free. I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a peaceful escape and top quality service especially after a 14 hour flight

    This is an amazing place to stay, especially if you are new to Cape Town! The waterfront is just a block from the entrance and there are many great cafes and shops and an ATM with security nearby. The staff are incredible and everyone made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast buffet is amazing and definitely worth booking! Siphokazi (I hope I got the spelling right) and her colleagues took very good care of us at the restaurant. I needed to work a bit with my laptop in the lobby, and felt very comfortable there. Thanks to the whole team for making us feel at home!
