Location

Wake up at the sound of gentle waves breaking in the background. Raddison Blu hotel Waterfront overlooks the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. The property is settled at the borders of the private marina, in Cape Town. This seaside hotel is located in the city centre and is near all the big cultural attractions; a beautiful harbor full of shopping, dining and entertainment options. Not far from Robben Island, another must-visit attraction, is home to a museum that chronicles both the dark days of South Africa and its triumphs; also a must is the Table Mountain.

Facility

11 apartments and 166 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Film lovers are sure to find just what they're looking for in the cinema's listings. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A dip in the refreshing outdoor pool is not to be missed. Even on grey days, guests can always go for a swim in the indoor pool. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and tennis are available. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym and squash. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a breakfast room and a bar. A continental breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options, picnics and snacks are available. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    We had a very nice and enjoyable stay during our recent 8 day trip to Cape Town. Hotel location, rooms and views are top notch. Could definitely do better in terms of their service quality specially w.r.t housekeeping and at breakfast. Some of the hotel areas like the main restaurant and surroundings could do with some upgrade in terms of the look and feel. Overall a satisfying experience.     We stayed at this hotel for over a week and absolutely enjoyed it. The hotel is located within easy walking distance (5-7mins) to both the DHL stadium and the shopping centre Victoria and Alfred Wharf. Situated at the seafront, there’s beautiful view of the sunset, and a decent 5km -10km running trail along the seafront promenade next to the hotel. Hotel room is big and spacious, with good WiFi connection and decent breakfast. Staff are always helpful and very friendly. I’d definitely come back and stay here again when I next visit Cape Town.     This is the 2nd time I stay in this hotel in May 2026.     Best hotel in Cape Town, South Africa. Don’t bother staying anywhere else!

    I checked into this fabulous Radisson Hotel in Cape Town South Africa on the evening of May 19, 2026 in town for the Cape Town Marathon. Travelled all the way from Boston, MA, USA. It was a late check in at 9:15am. The front desk staff and bellmen were absolutely delightful and welcoming. Hotel lobby is pristine clean all the time with complementary bottled water, fresh fruit water, candies and snacks always available in the lobby. 24-hour room service which I immediately indulged in! It was fantastic!!! I was 100 percent delighted with my superior room that had a view of the ocean.As a Boston Neonatologist (NICU physician for critically ill preemies and newborns), I am very particular about hotels where I choose to stay. They must be clean. I travel a lot. In town for my 8th international marathon. My room here at the Radisson was the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in in my 57 years. I always bring out my Clorox wipes and wipe down everything from the toilet to the phone to all counter tops as soon as I check in. All wipes came back clean! The room smelled clean. The room is modern with modern furniture. No stains anywhere. The bathroom was truly wonderful with a separate soak tub from the pristine glass enclosed shower. Towels changed twice daily. Lovely turn down service. Robes and slippers! Bath salts! Complimentary amenities that smell good and are high quality. Complimentary water in large glass jars always in my room and tasty cookies left on my pillow each night!. Well stocked mini fridge. A bottle of South African wine in the room! Welcome marathoners gift that had snacks and soothing gels for muscle cramps and a beautiful Africa keychain to take home as a keepsake. Comfortable firm beds with cozy sheets! Foam pillows available if you are allergic to down feathers as I am. Changed immediately upon request. The attention of the maid staff is truly amazing. They are the kindest, hardest working souls in this hotel. Go above and beyond to please their customers. I had 10 meals in the main restaurant which has a view of the ocean. I kept eating here because the food is diverse and amazing. ALL OF IT! The staff at all meals go above and beyond to make certain you have everything you need and more! Please see my photo with Tamara who works in the restaurant. This delightful and professional young lady went above and beyond serving me at so many meals and making sure I celebrated my Cape Town Marathon finish! Make certain you visit the spa! And make sure you ask for Peace! Peace is a phenomenal masseuse with the strongest hands! She got me ready for my marathon and helped me begin my important recovery after the marathon with another 90 min massage with CBD Oil! The Hotel gym is modern and clean with cold water and clean towels always available. Front desk staff, all of them, are always kind and professional as are the concierge staff. In summary, The Radisson Collection in Cape Town feels like coming home. Every single staff member is so warm and welcoming and they work so hard to make certain that your stay is enjoyable. And the hotel grounds are phenomenal with free shuttle service to the Waterfront Shops! Don’t bother staying anywhere else! I cannot wait to return with my adult children next year for the marathon!
