    I recently stayed at this hotel and had a really positive experience overall. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.

    If I could give 10 stars, I would. We got stuck in the worst storm and randomly found the lodge. Dave took us in and we had the best night. Very comfortable, clean, neat, warm. I would Very highly recommend them. Fantastic

    Saxon lodge is super beautiful. Rooms where super clean and welcoming and the food was amazing. Staff was super nice and the dog lulu was so friendly!

    The owners are lovely people, who catered to our every need and made us feel very at home. The food was incredible! Karen is an amazing cook! The bedrooms were spacious and very clean and the beds were really comfortable! There are extra heaters and blankets in the rooms for the winter too which was a an additional bonus. Thankyou for a lovely stay :)

    We booked a last-minute stay at Saxon Lodge on the day of a wedding, and Caron was absolutely wonderful—so friendly and helpful. She responded quickly, allowed us to check in early to accommodate our plans, and even upgraded our room. The lodge is peaceful with lovely views, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended for anyone stopping by in Gansbaai!
