    Good hotel, great views

    rating14 Dec 2025

Lovely room, quaint hotel, very good service - We drove from Franschhhoek to Camps bay for the last few days of our trip, and my partner booked this hotel, it was a little bit of a maze to find the reception, however "Andrew" was really good, came out and assisted with our luggage, however ....the elephant in the room ...Parking....but lets get back to that...We had room 4 - the view was amazing, with a balcony and some chairs outside, the view of the beach and the sea was out of this world, so much so we slept with the doors open so we could hear the sea - what a great sleep it was too - the bathroom was lovely too.We went for breakfast and the staff were courteous, friendly, and the "veggie" breakfast was lovely - Now Parking - it is a nightmare, it's like whacky races to try and get back in time to get a space - fortunately for us Andrew directed us right up to the maintenance doors and to the front of the hotel and it was a very tight squeeze in / out every day - I did notice that at least 1 car in the car park was not guests but decorators, which considering its about making a living would have been better to use for guests. We had issues the 2nd night with Wireless in Room 4, we were told to use Room 4 wireless and then another member of staff said we should not be using that and using "Sauna" which then stopped working, and we went back to Room 4 wireless which did work, I know it maybe not a big deal but it maybe when you cant get a normal signal AND there are no TV channels, and Netflix and all the apps rely on Wireless - which when not working makes you have to talk to your partner or the kids ! All in all the hotel was really nice, the view breathtaking and the staff brilliant (Andrew), just sorted out the Wireless, entertainment and the parking and you would sweep up !

Camps Bay Beach Front Hotel after a night at the Theatre on the Bay

    rating24 Jun 2025

The View! a quaint and eclectic little hotel tucked away in a side lane, but facing the beach. It was quite a rainy windy day but the hotel was warm with a fire burning in the dining room. The food for breakfast was excellent and the staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful. The view from our patio was incredible and we enjoyed sipping our coffee and watching the afternoon float by. Within easy walking distance of the restaurants and theatre and across the road from the beach. They offer on line check in and check out and there is wifi throughout. The hotel is a bit higgeldy piggeldy with many corners and stairs so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues and parking is a nightmare. I suggest phoning ahead to make arrangements in busy season. The rooms were clean and well fitted with new bathrooms. My only wish would be that they had bigger and better bath towels.

An amazing find for a Camps Bay stay!!!

    rating15 Mar 2025

From the beginning to the end, the staff at Primi Seacastle Hotel made us feel welcomed and special. First, the location is perfect. Directly across from Camps Bay beach where mornings are peaceful and evening sunsets can not be missed. The rooms are well appointed for the time you will stay in them. The gathering area near the pool offers comfort and the opportunity to meet people or relax in peace. The bar is well-stocked and the service is outstanding and personal.Breakfast is served from both a buffet and a nicely organized menu with something for everyone. The views and proximity to the beach are outstanding. You are close enough to the nightlife to be just a few minutes walk to great restaurants and bars, but far enough away so as not to be disturbed by nighttime activities. Enough can not be said in praise of the very competent and friendly staff. Every effort is made by the special people who work at Primi Seacastle to make your stay safe, enjoyable, and fun. They take pride in resolving any issues that travelers have, even when not directly related to the hotel. They communicate well and always make you feel safe and important. While the entire staff did a magnificent job, our friends, my wife and I are particularly happy to have the pleasure of offering praise to Milton for being a great source of information and an amazing ambassador for Camps Bay, Cape Town, and South Africa, let alone the Primi Seacastle Hotel!!!When Milton was not present, we were equally cared for by Andrew and Asanda who showed great personality and always had our best interest at the forefront of their work. This is a wonderful place to experience all that the area has to offer. We highly recommend anyone to visit and enjoy the people and location that Primi Seacastles offers in Camps Bay. Returning here is a must! Thank you for making it great!

Amazing boutique beach hotel with very helpful staff

    rating09 Dec 2024

Amazing location right on the beach with great views. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help me with my bags and getting settled. When my flight was delayed and I had to stay longer they were very accommodating. I had a beautiful room right off the pool. This would be my first choice hotel to stay at again if I returned to Camps Bay!

Fantastic beach front property overlooking the beach /sea of Camps Bay.

    rating12 Nov 2024

The Primi has one of the best locations along this beautiful stretch of beach at Camps Bay. It’s no more than a five minute walk to all the restaurants etc that make this such a hotspot for tourists and locals alike. Our room was of great size with excellent sleep quality and superb walk in showers . All you could want and more. The breakfast was terrific with a buffet and a menu of hot specialties, you could also order off piste if there was nothing took your eye. The service and staff made it for us . Andrew was a gentleman and sorted a minor problem we had during our first day quickly and efficiently. After that we were fine. It also boasts a small pool for the brave and the balconies offered some incredible sunsets . Can’t put a price on those ! All in all , we found The Seacastle excellent value for money considering everything and have no hesitation recommending. Enjoy !
