  I enjoyed my stay at the Stay easy hotel in Cape Town. From the welcoming staff to the excellent chefs, my experience wouldn’t have been better. 10/10 if you’re looking for an affordable and comfortable stay within the city. My room was comfortable and clean. I and no issues with my stay.   Great hotel and location. Out rooms were modern and very clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. The location was great for walking to various sites and restaurants. The reeftop bar was the best to see Table Mountain and city. I loved the views of Bo-Kaap and Lion'sHead

  The reception staff are racist and segregative They treat blacks as thou thieves or can’t afford the servicesWe had an issue of billing reconciliation on the 2nd night , my card was deactivated at 9pm yet we still had 2 more nights of stayThe manager could not even come out to see the scuffle happening at the receptionNo variety of breakfast

  This place is set in the center of the city and it’s easy to quickly access any attraction, restaurant or event. The front desk staff are very helpful, professional and friendly; the doormen are great at being aware and knowledgeable about the city; and, the cleaning staff responds quickly.I’d stay here again.   My 8 nights stay was better than expected.Location and security: Safe area, with lots of security on the street. There is always 1 hotel security at the door having an eye on you if you are outside. Uber always come within 3 mins everyday I used it. Pick n Pay supermarket is 2 blocks away (5min walk), same for KFC, McDo and Steers and safe to walk at night. The street is also full of nice restaurants and pubs, all being upscale.On Sundays, they close the street, so you are free to walk in the middle of the steet, great initiative!Hotel: Decent room for a 3 star hotel, I stayed in a corner room which was bigger than the others. Great view of Table Mountain. Room cleaning was on point, they always came to clean the room in the afternoon everyday. Good job! Parking available downstairs.You also have access to the next door Sun Square hotel, with great rooftop pool and views. HINT: There is a secret passageway to get there, ask the reception!The Red Bus / City Sightseeing Bus Stop is 3 blocks away, you can easily and safely walk there.Reception: Quick and easy check in / out. Large lobby, but basic decor. 2 vending machines for drink and snack, but they take coin and notes only. They also have a microwave and ice machine.The cons:No amenities in the bathroom - 1 tiny bar of soap, and 1 tiny bottle of body wash.No fresh fruits for breakfast - just canned/sweet fruits.Microwave was very smelly, was not able to use itYou will occassionaly hear "thumping" at night, it the next door "101" night club. Try to get a higher floor to avoid it.A minor complaint: I came from a long international flight, did not get opportunity to buy water bottle. I came at night, could not buy a bottle of water from vending machine as I had only card. Nearby supermarket was closed. I had to order 1 on Uber eats. By the time I got my water, I was dehydrated and with a headache. Getting water should not be a headache please!For all the thousands I paid, a water bottle would have make a difference :)Conclusion:It's worth it, particularly if you need to be in the centre. It has a decent price for the centre. However it lack amenities to make the hotel "fun". I will certainly come again.
