Location

Situated around an hours’ drive away from Cape Town, the hotel offers an impressive view of the Klein Swartberg Mountains and the continuing wheat fields.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 81 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, room service and a laundry service. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A telephone, a TV and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer is provided in the bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

    Disgusting change rooms

    We went as day visitors to the hot water pools. We found the change rooms absolutely disgusting. Dirty and wet . There was no one visible mopping or cleaning. Wet all over and so difficult to change. The showers need to be scrubbed. The temperature at the pools was great but the surroundings have not been maintained. So much can be done to enhance this natural hot water environment. Sad to see it not been maintained.     Terrible experience

    Myself and my partner planned on making a usual visit as we'd normally do but this occasion left us upset.From eating and bringing snacks on numerous occasions we were told we cannot eat?There are literally no signs visible that says not eating allowedI'd understand if there was but the security has no way of speaking to a person either. Then another thing, gym premises can't be used either and is only allowed for hotel guests?     Disappointing day out after high expectation

    The price for Pensioners was great but the R100 key deposit of which they wanted to keep R50 is shocking. Allegedly the hot pools are maintained and cleaned on a Monday, so expectation was that the pools would be clean. No evidence of that at all. The rotation pool was brown, slippey with leaves. No flotation in evidence. The hot pools were boiling, very slippy and mucky. The towel hooks at victorian bath covered in bird poo and the changing rooms had not seen a proper clean for some time. Even the men complained. More staff than customers with no one working. We were only customers in casino. Labels on slot machines had not been replaced you, as a novice, had to guess eventually ask. Will we return? No, unless some TLC is given to this place. Used to be a lovely day out.     Hot springs a disappointment

    Although the springs are well designed and a good concept they are let down badly by total neglect from the staff. The place is very dirty especially the steam room area which needs a major deep clean. Pathways need an anti slip treatment and the cold pool and lap pool need better water treatment as they were both murky.
