    Our fourth stay at the most wonderful hotel in Knysna

    Great location beautiful tranquil view of lagoon. Everything is well maintained and manicured great attention to detail.Rooms are large spacious with very comfortable bed with lounge and outside area to chill.Sandy and team are exceptional and made our 6 night stay wonderful.Spotlessly clean quiet and great amenities two swimming pools gym putting green and beautiful outside area.This was our fourth visit and definitely not the last. Highly recommend this establishment.

    We had a superb stay. The location is excellent, breakfast was great and the staff were lovely. The free boat trip on the lagoon was an added bonus. We hope to stay here again in the future

    Shame - could be so much better

    Just left after a 2 night stay.Cleaning - clean in the easy to access areas, but not up to scratch in the harder to access areas.Food - extremely poor breakfast and food options in general.General vibe - soulless, felt like you were in an old people home, hardly any guests despite it being the busiest time of year.Staff - super friendly and keen to help.Facilities - in desperate need of modernisation, sign from the road is dirty and paint is peeling, which doesn’t give a good first impression. Bathrooms are very dated and shower head pressure non existent.Location - great and easy to access Kynsna but you need a car or can use hotel shuttle. Kynsna isn’t what it used to be, very run down, would recommend Plett instead. Overall - at £350 per night, we were left hugely disappointed, and certainly wouldn’t return.

    The hotel was clean, spacious and had amazing views. Breakfast was good and had a lovely view of the lake. They even provide a complimentary boat ride. Can't fault it. Definitely worth going.
