  Good place for groups, we were able to get two 2-bedroom apartments next to each other for our whole group, and we could convene in the living room for games or drinks. AC worked fine. Having a fridge and kitchenette was nice, even for our short stay. I had no problem with the beds, or other furniture, and the weather was not suitable to utilize the balcony but I’m sure it would have been lovely. The location is within walking or Uber distance to many restaurants and other things to do. I had no issue with noise, in fact it seemed very quiet at night. People were obviously smoking pot in the building but I couldn’t smell it inside our room, only in the hallway, but it’s legal, who cares. This is obviously a spot popular with a younger demographic, I probably wouldn’t bring my young children or grandma here. The only downside is unlike many hotels and tourist spots, there is no generator, so during loadshedding we had no power (including elevator). They do provide a battery powered LED light to use when the lights are out, and a schedule so you can plan around it. It was not a huge disruption since we knew when it would happen in advance, and it’s what locals deal with all the time, so might as well embrace the local South African experience.

  Worst stay ever in Cape Town

  I stay in CTown every year for my holiday. This was the worse “hotel” ever for me. TEN Reasons I won’t recommend this place for the price:1. Noise levels are ludicrous here2. Not a great / save side street3. Beggars scream and fight and party constantly outside your windows4. The MCDonalds LOUD generator is directly below the hotel rooms5. The everyday stench of Canabis smoke coming from the 2nd floor overwhelms your room, your bathroom, your hallways and the lifts - EVERY DAY and every morning.6. The renovation noise of the workers and their generator at the school across the rooms are loud.7. There are no air-cons8. The delivery bikes and riders congregate outside your windows also on the other side and they are loud9. Then there is the toilet roll holder that is also broken - such a simple thing but becomes a problem due to the other factors10. Again but the CANABIS use was just way too much

  Family friendly; great location, next to the beach, to stores, restaurants, services, everything you need; great view (5th floor); amazing staff support, with a lot of flexibility to requests; safe neighborhood indeed; and affordable price considering everything offered there

  I was very happy with my stay. The hotel is exceptionally well located. The staff were really friendly, helpful and efficient.My only criticism is that there was no aircon which is a pity given that it was really hot (the fan was helpful though)

  Fabulous service, flexible staff, great views (from my sixth floor), a good wifi connection, a comfortable bed and restaurants and shops just around the corner: a perfect setup for my urban nomading working trip!
