Location

This modern luxury hotel lies by the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront with its numerous shopping and entertainment opportunities and is also connected with Cape Town International Convention Centre. Blue Train Station and the Cruise Liner Docking Harbour are also in the hotel's vicinity. The nearest beach is just 5 km from the hotel whilst Cape Town airport is 22 km from the hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 32 suites, 356 single rooms and 127 double rooms located in two 19-storey buildings with lifts. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms feature a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure comfortable temperatures. Many units feature a sea view, which creates a particularly lovely ambience. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A kitchenette with a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station is also provided as standard. Other amenities available include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a DVD player, an alarm clock and WiFi provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

The pool complex includes both indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking, golf and horse riding are available. Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at the non-smoking restaurant, which features air conditioning and a separate area for smokers. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    This hotel is located across from the convention centre. Large spacious rooms and great bathroom with separate bath. Very clean and staff are very attentive and professional. Breakfast was good - menu for other meals okay. Would definitely recommend.

    Above and Beyond: Outstanding Service When I Needed It Most

    I had barely arrived in Cape Town when I managed to leave my backpack in the vehicle that brought me from the airport. The bag contained my laptop, medication, charger, and other important personal belongings, and I was convinced I would never see it again.What happened next was extraordinary.Although the incident occurred outside the hotel and was not The Westin Cape Town's responsibility, Dean Horn and Shane Ford immediately stepped in to help. They treated the situation with urgency, professionalism, and genuine care. Through persistence, investigation, and a remarkable commitment to helping a guest in distress, they were able to locate the vehicle and ultimately reunite me with my backpack.What impressed me most was not only their professionalism, but their kindness. At a moment when I felt overwhelmed and discouraged, they remained calm, reassuring, and determined to help.I travel internationally on a regular basis and stay in many hotels around the world. I can honestly say that the service I received from Dean and Shane ranks among the finest examples of hospitality I have ever experienced.Thank you, Dean, Shane, and the entire Westin Cape Town team for turning what could have been a disastrous start to my visit into a memorable example of exceptional service and human kindness.     I completed a 4-night stay at the Westin Cape Town and had a pleasant experience. From check-in to check-out, the staff were courteous and helpful. My Marriott Lifetime Platinum status was recognized at check-in, leading to an upgrade. The Executive Club offered daily canapes from 1600-1900 which was a lovely feature. The indoor and outdoor pools, as well as the sauna and steam room, were wonderful options after a full-day of sightseeing. The hotel offers a daily scrumptious breakfast buffet from 0630-1030 on the Ground floor. It is located a quick drive or 20 minute walk to the V&A Waterfront. I would gladly stay again!     SPA AT THE WESTIN

    Spa Massage treatment was VERY unprofessional and disappointing. Even though the facility is 5 star, the STAFF are NOT trained to 5 star standards.In the steam/ sauna room the cleaning lady came to complain about how difficult her life was, expecting some kind of monetary offering. She began cleaning & complaining as soon as I entered the sauna, and continued complaining until she saw another person walk past. The Massage therapist was even MORE disappointing, she pretends to be a PSYCHIC and gets into your life details, saying she can see things and gets information from the “spiritual world”, she also did not stop talking the entire duration of the massage and totally RUINED the experience. I regret that I did not ask her to leave the room, I would have preferred a refund or another therapist. I would never book any treatment here again unless I was assured that the staff are finally trained to do their job.     Wonderful Stay

    We just finished a lovely stay at the Westin Cape Town. We checked in for one night before departing on safari and they we kind enough to store a portion of our luggage for a week. Upon returning we stayed for another four nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful, very well serviced with multiple offerings. The Westin Club lounge was a great way to end the day. Overall, one of our best Westing stays.
