  We had a wonderful day at the whistle lark hotel in Jeju. The location was perfect with an Ocean view by the block and a half from Black pork Street and walking distance to the underground mall and Dongmun market. It was also convenient to have 7-Eleven and another convenience store across the street.

  The hospitality of front desk need improvement

  We stayed at the Whistlelark Jeju City Hotel. The hotel location is quite good. The breakfast menu is only 2 types, so the menu is today and tomorrow. The day after tomorrow will be back. In terms of taste, it is quite OK. The mattress in this hotel is not comfortable, too flat and makes noise. The ajuma / cleaning service is very polite, but unfortunately the front desk, especially the man, has an unfriendly face. Not all of them can speak English well. Maybe you can learn from the Korean drama King of the Land, which played Yoona even said the word Hermes just to make her lips smile. We stayed for 9 nights and asked for early check in but it was not possible. On the last day, we asked for a late check out which was 11 a.m. max 12 p.m. We had to check out after 1 p.m. per hour for 20,000 won.   Hotel Whistlelark Jeju 휘슬락 호텔 — Great Sea Views, but an Unpleasant Front Desk Experience

  Hotel Whistlelark Jeju was our choice for a 6 days 5 nights stay in Jeju, booked via Trip.com, and overall, the hotel left us with mixed feelings.On the positive side, the price was reasonable, especially for Jeju standards, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We specifically chose a sea-facing room with a balcony, which came at a slightly higher cost, but it was worth it. The balcony view of the sea was lovely, especially in the morning and at sunset, making it a relaxing place to unwind after a day of exploring the island.Check-in is strictly at 3pm, so when we arrived early, we left our luggage at the front desk without issue. While waiting, I took the opportunity to take some photos of the lobby for review purposes. Unfortunately, this led to a very unpleasant interaction with a front desk staff member. He abruptly told me that I was not allowed to take photos of the front desk and insisted that I delete the photo on my phone, even demanding to watch me erase it. Despite explaining that the photo was only for a review and did not clearly show his face, he remained firm and intimidating.What made the situation more confusing was that later, near the lift lobby, there was a banner encouraging guests to leave reviews. The contradiction, coupled with the rude and confrontational approach, left a sour impression. Being told you cannot photograph a hotel lobby — especially in such a manner — felt unnecessary and unwelcoming.Overall, Hotel Whistlelark Jeju is decent in terms of room quality, cleanliness, location, and sea views, but the front desk experience significantly affected our perception.   Very disappointed with this hotel!!!

  Just want to share my experience in this hotel to remind other tourists about their advertisement with their sea view option in their website. We booked for 3 nights deluxe double SEAVIEW HKD2,340.00 (high price compare to other room types). When we reached our room, we were assigned in this room with harbour view and a noise from the fishing boats. I went down to ask for a room change but they’ve mentioned that ALL OF THEIR ROOMS are half SEA VIEW and half HARBOUR VIEW but I saw some of the rooms are facing the full sea view and deluxe room as well. Inside the room is not that clean. You can bring your own slippers as well coz their hotel slippers are reused, phone have moulds, bath mat is old and tear off. Just be careful when booking this hotel.
