    Ok stay, but no upgrades, and poor F&B hours

    I stayed at the Aloft Seoul Gangnam for about five nights on a work trip in September 2025. Overall, the stay was fine, but not ideal for my needs on a longer business trip. My room felt quite cramped, and the closet space wasn’t sufficient for unpacking and organizing work clothes and luggage.As a Bonvoy elite member, I asked about upgrading to a suite, but was told the hotel does not provide complimentary upgrades for elites. I then inquired about a paid upgrade, but the rate wasn’t discounted at all and was above my company’s reimbursable limit, which was disappointing.Breakfast was okay but nothing particularly memorable, and I found the food and beverage hours to be quite limited. It’s especially challenging to get something to eat late at night when you’re jet-lagged and don’t feel like going out.I might consider staying again if the rate were compelling, but for future trips to Gangnam I think I’d prefer the AC, which has suited my business travel needs better.

    This modern, new, clean hotel in Gangnam is well situated with clean, modern rooms. Rooms very functional and equipped with even iron and ironing board -minibar. Cafe, bar and restaurant in hotel- 24 hr convenience store next door. Friendly and prompt front desk staff

    The hotel is modern with wireless charging in room. It has all the necessary amenities and is conveninwtly located near metro and COEX. The service is nice and room with river view is nice too.

    Terrific Stay Convenient to Seoul Drone Show

    GREAT stay! Had business in Gangnam and opted to stay the night to catch the 2025 Seoul Drone Show in Ttukseom Hangang River Park. The hotel is located within a quick walk of Cheongdam station exit 14 on the Line 7 subway. Ttukseom Park is located across the river from the hotel at Jayang station, just one quick stop away. Great to get to park early and find the perfect viewing spot, and then amazingly easy to navigate through the crowd and get back to my comfy room! The staff was extremely kind and helpful andAloft’s casual chic vibe provides a pleasant environment with everything needed for a comfortable short stay.

    Great location for sightseeing and friendly front desk service. Also the room attendance was nice as well. I especially enjoyed the bathtub. I’ll stay here again when I return to Korea!
