  Area felt safe to walk even at night. Less than an hour away from Incheon via car. Airport limousine bus stop is about 600 meters away. Located within a kilometer of the Hongdae shops. There are 3 bus stops less than a block nearby. Easy to take an Uber. Hongdae train station is about 900 meters away. Spacious room and bathroom. Rooms are cleaned daily. Medium firm mattress and plush beddings. Temperature control is centralized so during colder months, they will have the heater on and there is no way to turn this off. You can open a window if the room gets too hot or stuffy for you. Our rooms got cleaned everyday. Liquid body soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided in a dispenser. No other toiletries are provided. Lots of nearby cafes and convenience stores. 10 mins away from Mangwon market. Pool can be used for an extra fee. There is free luggage storage. Staff are friendly and helpful and good in English. Breakfast buffet is the same throughout our stay except for one or two dishes that they swap out. It's not the best value hotel but booking months in advance helps significantly with the price.

  A week in Seoul

  Great location, 5/10 minutes walk to the subway and the shopping hub. It is quiet but near enough to the busy shopping and restaurant area. Our room was spacious, large comfy bed and a large bathroom. Only complaint was that the lighting in the room was too dim, especially when trying to read at night. Not a lot of drawer space but that is not unusual. The staff were friendly and helpful. We tried and failed to get accommodation in Myeongdong and chose this hotel and glad we did! We visited the Myeongdong shopping area and although spoiled for choice, it is very busy. Although we are in our 70’s and the main area near the Amanti is mainly geared for students, we loved it! Every night, there were street performances and the whole area was full of young students enjoying life. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend the Amanti Hotel.

  Amanti or my little paradise in Seoul

  The Amanti hotel in Seoul is simply fabulous!! The ensuite rooms are beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean, with incredible views of the city. We stayed in a double bedroom for 4 days at first and in a twin room the last 3 days, both very comfortable. The staff was lovely and efficient, and some had good English but we did try our poor knowledge of Korean on them and God bless their patience!! The outdoor swimming pool is on the same floor as the reception (5th floor) and is perfect for a dip, even in the rain when the external temperature is 30 celcius (we were there in July’24). You can even order food which they deliver by the pool and the prices for the quality are truly reasonable. The location is second to none!! Bang on in Hongdae, with its lovely and lively streets full of all sorts of varied shops and eateries, local cinemas, the big market isn’t far either and the nearest subway is a mere 5 min walk from the hotel (Hongik University station). For those into croissants and café au lait in the morning, the « Paris Baguette » bakery and coffee shop is right across from the hotel and there are many other options but breakfast in the hotel is equally great. Next time we visit Seoul, we’ll most definitely stay there again, and if you book early enough, the hotel offers some fab deals, Simply loved the place!!!👍🥰💕

  No Air-Con in room...

  Not value for money and there is no air-con available in room after November.... We cannot sleep well overnight as its very warm (22 degree with no air-con). As the hotel staff said that Korea will be very cool in the next few days and they need to switch the whole hotel from cold to heart function due to centralize air-con system.... (i was like...)When you shower in bathroom, you will 100% make the floor all wet as there is no shelter in bathtub. Also the room is quite dark and the sensitive-light in door will be only open when u walk passed by.And if you stay at the last corner room, you will hear quite noisy machine sound next to the wall when anyone having bath...

  DIY Hotel!

  The hotel is comfortable but room amenities very limited. Just 2 sachets each of coffee and tea in 24 hours, no creamer or sweetener in a double room accommodating two. We once asked for sugar and were told by housekeeping to pick it up from the reception!
